My Next Door Neighbor Joe Sugg

Chapter 14

It was the next day and I was worried about Joe. He slept on his own right? They didn't sleep together right? Ugh, what am I doing? Joe isn't like that and I'm sure Britt isn't either.

I sighed and made myself some coffee. It made me realise that I didn't have a matching cup with Joe. I felt tears in my eyes and I quickly wiped them away. I'm being too emotional right now.

I poured myself some coffee and opened my laptop to look at youtube. Joe had uploaded a new vlog so I decided to watch it. I couldn't help but smile each time his face appeared on the screen.

It was near the end of the vlog and Joe was in bed with little light, most likely from his phone. I glanced around nervously, hoping I wouldn't see someone else. Luckily, I didn't see anything and I smiled as Joe said he wasn't a daily vlogger. I sighed in relief and went to get dressed.

I wanted to visit Joe but I supposed he was busy and texted Conor to see if he wanted to hang out. A while later he replied and said Jack was tagging along too. I hesitated but I agreed and waited for them to arrive.

I opened my door and Jack immediately pulled me into a hug. "I'm so sorry for what I did the other day, I had a few drinks before I went to Joe's and I guess I was little too touchy. Please don't think of me wrongly, really I'm so sorry."

"It's fine, really. I'm sorry for the way Joe yelled at you." I smiled and pulled away from our hug.

Conor smiled at us and hugged me. I signaled them inside and put on a movie. They each sat beside me on the couch and snuggled into a pillow.

"So you and Joe are dating, right?" Jack asked me and Conor turned to look at me.

"Yes that's right. Why?"

"Oh it's just that if I had a girlfriend I would immediately say it rather than put little hints in videos, but that's just me." Jack shrugged his shoulders and Conor looked confusedly at him.

"You know she's not going to change her mind just from that, right? But that's just me." Conor copied Jack and I began laughing. Jack rolled his eyes and smiled.

"Yeah I know, I'm just saying I'd be careful now that Britt's around and everyone likes those two together. They barely even know you." Jack pointed at me and I looked at the floor.

He's right. If Joe and Britt knew each other for some time, everyone would know more about her. I've only been in one vlog and only Joe's closest friends have figured it out. Now that I think about it, I've never read the comments in the video I was in.

"Have you guys read the comments in the video I was in?" I kept my gaze on the floor which didn't let me see the nervous glances the brothers gave each other.

"You shouldn't worry about that, let's just watch the movie." Conor said and patted my back as Jack lifted my head. I looked at them and they gave me a bright smile. I breathed in deeply and tried my best to watch the movie without focusing on the video.

Only a few minutes had gone by when we heard someone knocking on my door. I paused the movie and stood up to get the door. "Joe! Oh and Britt. What's up guys?" I hugged Joe and smiled at Britt.

"We came to visit you, Britt wanted to see your apartment." Joe said and let go of me as he and Britt walked into the living room. Joe stopped when he saw Jack and Conor. He looked back at me with an annoyed look on his face.

"Can't I have some friends over? You're hanging out with Britt anyway." I shrugged and sat on the loveseat which was opposite of the two brothers. Joe walked over and sat next to me. He was very close and put an arm around my waist as he glared at Jack.

Britt looked confused and glanced at me. I gave her a small smile and shook my head slightly. She shrugged and turned to the tv. "I see you guys were watching a movie. Joe and I went out for breakfast at a nice restaurant and then we went shopping. It was a lot of fun." She beamed a smile at Joe and he nodded his head.

I felt a hint of jealousy. Joe has never taken me out actually. "Yeah it sounds like a lot of fun. The only time Joe and I went out was with Conor." I chuckled and looked at Joe. He smiled and Conor laughed.

"I felt like I was a third wheel. Honestly I didn't think I had a chance with you anyway." Conor said and shrugged.

"Yeah that's right. I saw Vanessa and I knew I had to have her." Joe pulled me closer and kissed my lips softly. I blushed and hid my face in Joe's chest.

I heard laughter coming from them which made me feel even more embarrassed. Finally they calmed down and I lifted my head. Jack was staring at me.

"Joe, I'm sorry for what I did. You obviously liked Vanessa from the start and I didn't even notice it. To be honest, I was a bit drunk. I'm sorry." Jack said and looked pleadingly at Joe.

Joe sighed and looked at the floor. "No, I'm sorry mate. I overreacted and I guess I was feeling a bit possessive of Vanessa. Let's just forget that happened."

Jack smiled and Joe did the same. I cuddled into Joe as he kissed my forehead. Britt still looked confused but she didn't say anything. "So what are we doing tomorrow Joe?" Britt turned her attention back to Joe and smiled.

"I'm not sure yet. We could go for a walk around the park and see where we go after that." Joe shrugged and pushed his hair back with his hand.

I laughed a bit as his hair went back to how it was. He huffed and pushed it back once more only for it to go back again. He rolled his eyes and looked at his watch. "I guess it's time we go. I promised Britt I'd cook some dinner for us." Joe pulled his hand away from me and I sat up. Britt immediately stood up and grabbed Joe's hand.

"Yes! I can't wait to taste your cooking, we'll see you later guys!" Britt ran off, dragging Joe along with her. He looked back at me and told Britt to wait.

Joe pecked my cheek as Britt waited impatiently for him. "Come on Joe, let's go already!" Britt pulled on Joe's hand and dragged him out the door as I looked longingly at him. The door shut behind them and soon I heard laughter coming from next door. I sighed and sunk into the couch, forgetting that Conor and Jack were still here.

"Come on, don't get upset. Joe only likes you." Conor gave me a small smile.

"Yeah he's right, trust me. I've never seen Joe this happy with a girl before." Jack chimed in. I knew they were trying to cheer me up but it didn't feel right. I still felt upset.

I sighed loudly and looked up towards the ceiling. "What about Britt? Don't you think she seems a little too close to Joe?"

I didn't see the brothers exchange glances as I asked them that. "She's just being friendly. She has a lot of energy anyway." I heard Connor say. I shrugged and kept my gaze on the ceiling.

They walked over to me and hugged me. I smiled softly as they placed their heads on my shoulders. "You can always talk to us. Don't let it bother you." Jack whispered into my ear softly as we sat there in each others arms.
