nagisa's POV
Today is this first job I has in awhile. I haven't been hired by many rich people but I suppose I picked up this job from my interview, which was the same as all the others.
I sighed a breath of relief when another maid opened the door.
"Welcome ! You must be Nagisa.. right?" she said calmly, her hair in a high ponytail.
I nodded softly and grabbed my bag from off the floor. Apparently I'll be living here for awhile. Off of rich people. I was excited and scared. What if the guy was strict.
I stepped slowly, dragging my bag next to me. The house was awfully huge. The steps were infinite and there were at least 4 floors.
"I'm Ritsu.. I'm one of the maids here.. there are at least 2 more." she smiled sweetly and called a blonde girl over. She politely bowed and tilted her head, "I'm Rio and over there is Itona."
Another boy? Wow.
"The boss is in his office.. feel free to stop in and say hello.. he will show you your room." Itona said, resting his shoulder on the broom.
I nodded and looked up, " Which floor?"
Rio pointed to the second and I replied with a slight nod.
I hugged my bag and took a deep breath as I entered the office.
It was huge.
The whole room was surrounded by windows and the curtains were a bright yellow lining each window perfectly. The wall was a cream pretty cream color and gold designs on the room.
Above the bosses head was a big glass chandelier.
His hair was a bright red but I was wondering what his face was like.
He turned around once he heard the door shut.
"Nagisa !" He smiled softly and stood up.
I bit my lip and nodded.
"I'll show you to your room.. Follow me Nagisa" he picked up my bag and led me to a door down the hall near a small patch of windows.
"Make yourself at home.. dinner is at 5:30." he pushed me through the door and placed my bag next to me, shutting the door.
I looked around at the medium sized room.
The walls were a light blue and the curtains a darker shade of blue. I sat on the bed and swung my legs.
It was 3:40 pm and dinner started at 5:30.. what to do till then.
I laid on my back and stared at the ceiling through the white netted cloth that covered the bed.
It was like a princess bed.
I suddenly fell asleep. I don't remember doing so but the red headed boss slowly opened the door.
"Nagisa ? Dinner is getting cold.." he stuck his head into the crack of the door.
I looked at the time.
5:50 pm.
I shot out of my bed and bowed quickly towards the boss.
"I'm so sorry sir !" I said, biting my lip as hard as I could.
"Call me Karma." he put a hand on my head.
I looked up slowly and nodded.
"O-okay Karma." I replied, leaning up the moment he removed his hand.
"Come to dinner now." Karma said and left the room.
I fixed my bed head and ran downstairs, walking in on all the maids and butlers eating.
Karma sat at the head of the table, an empty seat next to him and Rio.
I suppose the seat was for me so I sat and picked up a fork.
Karma stare at me for awhile, I can notice his hard not to see eyes pointing at me.
"You like steak right?" he suddenly said, startling me a bit.
I shyly nodded and ate the rest of my vegetables, chugging down my water.
I turned to Karma, who has been staring at me the whole time and bowed.
"Thank you for the meal Karma-kun. May I be excused?" I cup my hands together.
Karma places his hand on my head again.
"Go ahead Nagisa." he said and smiled.
I stood up and pushed in my chair, heading back to my room.
Karma is super nice for a rich kid.
I go into the maid's bathroom, which was really nice, and opened a curtain to the boys hot springs. The outdoors was chilly but I suppose a hot spring would do the trick.
I stripped of my clothes and settled down in the bath, closing my eyes and purring softly.
I stayed like that awhile till I heard a voice, "Naaaagisssaaaa.."
I jumped and opened my eyes quickly.
Itona smiled and sat next to me.
"Sorry to startle you!" he rested in the bath next to me.
"Karma is a good guy right.." Itona closed his eyes, sinking into the water.
I nodded softly and looks straight ahead.
"He really takes care of us.. he is really happy you are here.. he talks about you a lot during tea." He said still in the same position.
Karma was talking about me? I blushed a bit but I'm sure that it was just the heat.. not the fact that Karma talks about me.. I just started today.
I looked at Itona, "What did he say?"
Itona opened his eyes and smiled.
"Can't tell.. its private !"
I looked away and reached for a towel.
"It's getting late.. I'm gonna get out now." I wrapped the towel around my waist as I reached the top step.
"Night ! Karma will wake you up in the morning for breakfast." Itona waved goodbye.
I dried myself and wrapped myself in a robe, tying it into a bow and throwing the towel into a basket to wash later.
I grab my clothes and slowly walk to my room, opening the door to see Karma sitting on my bed with a book labeled, "Famous Poems."
He chuckled softly till he saw me and stood up.
I blushed quickly since I was barely wearing anything. He walked towards me and brushed his thumb against my lips.
"Your first day is tomorrow.. rest up." he smirked and walked out the door, closing it behind him.
I stood there speechless, deciding just to sleep in the robe, the moment that just happened replaying in my head.
Why was he in here?
