It's seven a.m in the morning, chilly yet bright. The sun sure is out early today. The warm rays of sunlight shine through the vibrating glass of the bus, and onto Jungkook's face. Patterns showing on his skin from the details on the bus windows.

His ears are entranced by silly, poppy, repetitive love songs, playing through his earphones. He finds them fun and amusing. None of the stuff they say in them actually happen in real life, but it's amusing to listen to, and some are really catchy.

His thumbs tap on the screen of his phone switched off, as he goes along to the beat of the tune. The digits on the clock go up as Jungkook travels from A to B. A, being home, and B, being work.

Jungkook works at the local diner in town, 'Mama's and Papa's'. Although it's local, he still has to travel about fifteen minutes to get to work, and Jungkook isn't one to walk that much.

Mama's and Papa's is a diner, with many shades of brown. It's not that out there with jukeboxes and brightly coloured neon signs decorating the windows, like many diners. It resembles a cabin, in a more large setting. The place is very warm and the lighting being a little darker than your average restaurants. It's supposed to give off the vibe of a warm cabin, with a fireplace, and lighting that doesn't hurt your eyes. Somewhere where you can take a load off your mind, and eat a greasy burger.

"Hey, look who decided to join us today" Someone mentions.

The latter subtly chuckles. "Where would you be without me, right?"

"Aye, don't get too cocky now, Jeon" He chuckles.

"But it's true, ain't it?" Jungkook replies, confident.

"Ok, ok. Calm down, now. What do you want? You want me to bow at your feet, 'Oh holy waiter, Jungkook'?", "Or maybe a trophy for waiting tables at Mama's and Papa's?" He finishes. Jungkook could tell he was making fun of him, and found it amusing.

He laughs at the latter's sense of humor. "You're funny, Jin hyung"

"Oh, you think so?" Jin asks, feeling accomplished. Jungkook only continues to chuckle in response, as he passes by, on his way to drop off his things before his work shift starts.

As fifteen minutes quickly pass by, Jungkook has now arrived at Mama's and Papa's, quickly greeting his co-worker, Kim Seokjin.

Jin has been working at Mama's and Papa's for five years, waiting on tables, and collecting what seems to him like, 'change'. He always thinks he should be doing something much more than just being a waiter, but he's been stuck at the diner for most of his work life.

Making his way through the kitchen, hood on his head, wearing his backpack, Jungkook finds his way to the back room for employees of the diner to keep their things. On his way, he throws a few hi's and hey's to the workers in the kitchen, before continuing to reach the back room.

"Order Up!"

Jungkook hears, immediately power walking from a table, back to the front counter to grab the tray with the said order. It's natural to him, that whenever he hears 'Order Up', he goes to retrieve the tray.

He picks it up, and turns about to deliver the tray at the table it needs to be at, before getting tapped on the shoulder.

Jungkook stops in his tracks, and turns. "Yeah?"

"You don't even know which table it goes to" The Chef chuckles. "Aren't you going to ask me where it goes?" He asks.

"Oh no, don't worry" Jungkook smiles. "I've already got it memorized"

The Chef widens his eyes. "Bu-"

"Table 14, right?" Jungkook asks.

"Y-yeah" He stutters.

Jungkook snickers, before turning to drop the order off at Table 14.

He has been working at this diner for two years, and is the best worker there. He is the hardest worker, stays back and does longer shifts, fills in for people when they're sick, always gets to work on time and is the kindest waiter to customers. I mean, you could say he's a favourite around here.

"Hey, I'll see you tomorrow, aye Jeon" Jin waves, backpack on, uniform off. It's now five p.m and the older latter has just finished his shift, as he waves his friend goodbye, ready to return to his couch and T.V at home.

"Yeah, ok. See ya" Jungkook waves back, before resuming his job in wiping down tabletops.

The diner is starting to close for the day, and Jungkook has been assigned to cleaning the dining area.

"Hey, Jungkook" A five year old kid acknowledges, happily eating his fries.

Jungkook smiles, stopping his duties for a bit to talk to the little boy.

"Hey, Randy. How you doing today?"

"Well um, I learnt a lot at school today, and this is my reward" Randy tells. "And also, mummy wanted a triple BBQ stacker burger" He finishes, continuing to munch on his fries.

"Oh, really?" Jungkook chuckles.

"Mhm" The little boy smiles. "I learnt all about five plus five, and counting to ten - oh and not to make fun of Jack's nose, even though it's so big, that I can sit under it when it rains" He says casually, enjoying his meal, while also insulting another little boy's nose, in his class.

Jungkook laughs. He couldn't help it, Randy is way too wise for his age. That little rascal always cracks him up. He knows Randy is ninety-nine percent the class clown of his class.

"Well, looks like you didn't learn to be nice to your classmates, huh, Randy?" Jungkook asks.

"Oh no, I did. But Gosh, I'm sorry, Jack's nose is just really big. I'm scared I might bump into it at school" He says.

In attempt to hold it in, Jungkook bursts into a giggle, before collecting himself. He can't be this unprofessional at work, but he just adored Randy. He's a funny and wise kid. Jungkook has known him since he was a baby, and his mum used to bring him in all the time, when he was still in a baby stroller.

Now Randy is five years old, and is just the most amazing kid to Jungkook. He's great entertainment and amusement, and he's always sure he's going to get smiles and laughs whenever the boy opens his mouth to talk.

"Ok, well. I gotta get back to work" Jungkook informs Randy's mum, Nicole.

"No problem" Nicole smiles. "I'll see you most likely, tomorrow" She chuckles. I mean that is where majority of the town spend most of their time, so she isn't wrong.

"Yeah, ok" He smiles back. "See ya, Randy" He waves, smiling.

"Bye, Jungkook. See you tomorrow" He grins, a little twinkle in his eyes. He likes Jungkook, he always listens to his stories and doesn't treat him like a child, something Randy and most kids hate.

Footsteps are heard by many, as Jungkook travels up the long, and echoing flight of stairs that lead to his apartment on the fourth floor. There are no elevators in his building, and so the only way up and down is the endless amount of stairs.

He always hates how he lives on the fourth floor, having to walk up many flights of stairs, and sometimes getting yelled at by neighbors who tell him to keep the footstep sounds to a minimum. I mean the floor echoes, what else do these people expect?

Unlocking his door to apartment '15A', he walks in, takes off his shoes revealing mildly sore feet, which Jungkook then hisses in pain, dropping his things all at the door, before taking a long pause of just silence, and then just dropping onto the couch. Just like that. His body felt dead, and his mind is on sleeping. He just wants to sleep.

And so he does. Not changing, not showering, not eating. Literally just falling asleep as is. Sprawled out onto the couch in deep sleep.
