Unforgivable Love

Year 1, Chapter 1

Bella

It was the first day at Hogwarts. Well, sort of. We were getting sorted today. The light grey brick walls looked aged and weathered. We gathered into the Great Hall and I looked around. There were four long oak tables. All with a great amount of students.

"Draco Malfoy!" Professor Mcgaonogal yelled. He stepped up to the stool and sat down. As the Sorting Hat statutes to touch his hair he shouted, "Slytherin!" He looked my way and we made eye contact. His beautiful stone grey eyes shimmered under the floating candles.

"Bella Herron!" I stopped my eye contact with Draco and walked up the stairs. I sat down and waited for my house to be yelled. "GRYFFINDOR!" He yelled. I smiled and hopped off the stool and walked over to the Gryffindor table. I sat down next to Hermione and i traduced myself.

"I'm Hermione Granger." She smiled and held out her hand. "I'm Bella Herron." I took her hand and shook it. We smiled at each other and I introduced myself to a new student who got sorted after me. Her name was Callie, she sat down next to Ron and we all started talking.

Soon after the Sorting Ceremony, Professor Dumbledore had mad a few announcements. "The third floor corridor is off limits? But why?" I asked Hermione. She shrugged and we looked back at Dumbledore. "Now, let the feast begin!" As soon as he said that, the table was filled with delicious dinner and deserts.

"Jeez, are you really eating all that?" Callie laughed as she teased Ron. He blushed and took a bite of his chicken. We all laughed and carried on with eating.

It was soon time for us to go to our common room and get settled in. I hopped on my bad and sighed. "Today was exciting." I said. "Yes, very." Hermione said. I wanted to go to bed early since classes started tomorrow. I didn't want to be sleepy.
