Chapter 1: My life

It all started on the day I Melody Rose was born I was born Almost 14 years ago on April 19 that was the day life gave and took everything away from me.That day I lost my parents but also met the one person I could always count on I met Aries He was kind and loving to me. My grandfather told me that if I ever needed anything he would be there for me and he would always save me no matter what. Then when I was 6 I lost my grandfather he died so peacefully and left me everything in his will Thou through the whole thing Aries was there with me he was even there through my nightmares.When I met him my whole world brightened up he was so kind to me he said my eyes were beautiful he wanted to be friends he held his hand out to me but I was just sitting there staring at his hand his voice rang in my head "Let's be friends"I smiled and took his hand "yeah Let's be friends" I said. After that say we spent a lot of time together but things changed when I was over his house"Hey melody why don't we go to your house?we're Always here" He asked I was scared to answer truthfully because if I did I could lose my only friend"Ummm it's because...."I never got to finish my sentence because I got so scared that I got up and ran out of his house I ran all the way up to the hill where you can see the sunset over the water it was beautiful and peaceful I sat there thinking about what happened. "Melody where are you" his voice he was looking for me but I could not I would not call back for him I can't call back to him he would judge me for running I'm a coward but he found me "Melody why did you run?" he asked me "I can't deal with it ok I can't tell you because you'll judge me" I said I was in tears I can't even face him."I would never judge you melody you're my best friend and if I do judge you you can never see me again you can forget me hate me"he said as he sat near me and looked at the me he took his hand and wiped my tears away"no wants to be my friend since my grandfather died I'm sure you heard some people talking I'm a cursed child" i said not looking at him I refused to look at him till I'm done."When I was born both my parents died on the day of my birth than just a year ago I lost my grandfather now I'm 7 and almost alone".i finished off my story and turned my head to him he had a look about him he was not angry nor was he mad at me just surprised"So you live all by yourself and what do you mean you're almost alone"That was what he wanted to know "I'm not living by myself technically I'm living with my dad and it's friend the one person I trust enough to take care of me and he always does"i said "and when I mean I'm not alone I mean you I only have you to look forward to seeing I only see you you're my only friend the only person that likes to hang out with me" I said my sadness finally taking over my tears were now falling freely and i could not to myself i let him in now it's his move he can leave me or he could stay with me it's his choice, not mine, i hear a voice in my head "If he leaves then you'll always have me to watch over you who cares if can't see you for you, my Beloved Melody" it was Aries he always gives me advice like this it always makes me feel better."well melody i wish you told me this because it proves my theory i can't leave you alone no more how can i when I love you so much" he said I started blushing "marry me" he said I was shocked I looked at him he was serious about this "Ummm I think your crazy was way too young to be married" I said trying to reason with him he must be out of his mind clearly.then I heard it another voice but who was this i don't know who"no he's speaks the truth he loves you wholeheartedly miss rose and I ask you to at least hear him out about it" that voice who is it "he's Leo the lion he's like me melody your friend there is like you but you can not tell him he is not ready to know about his true power you should watch over him a little more".He's like me he has magic and he understands me i mentally tell the two that i would watch him as best as i could"alright how about you be my girlfriend and we get married when we are both 18 years old"He was so into the idea all i could do is be happy and smile someone like me for me and he's like me how could i say no"I'll be waiting till then"he looked at me then smiled and grabbed my hand and dragged me all the way back to his house "mom i need you this is important"he said his mom was a nice lady who worked as a doctor at the hospital near his house"yes dear what's the matter"she says she had a loving aura about her she cared for people even if they don't want it"i want you to meet my new girlfriend soon to be wife in years to come"he said with a bright smile i just was standing there i was not expecting him to just go out and say it i mean where only 7 and things can change over time we have only known each other for a few months."well then i guess i should start getting the wedding stuff together it won't be long before then oh and you have to get the rings to"His mother was going on and on about this did she not care that we were only 7 years old uhh is this where he gets it from i wondered then i looked outside seeing as it was getting dark"i should go now it's starting to get late"he looked outside "yeah it is i should walk you home huh"he grabbed my hand again and started walking me home i was so surprised that i did not noticed that we were already near the park"soo melody where do you live"he asked looking at me as we walked"ohh i live up on the higher hills of this place not to far just a few more minutes tell were there"we were walking for a couple of minutes before my house came into view but when we were there i heard something and turned to see something forming out of the shadows"what's that"i heard him say. What do i do if I call Aries, he might think something's up but if I don't we could get hurt I don't have a choice "Aries" I yelled out and a bright light started to form in front of me the warm light that felt like fire"Melody stay back don't get into this fight you might get hurt"Aries said i nodded and watched As things started to happen but then another one came"Melody watch out"I heard him yell out I looked to my side and saw a creature forming and coming for me I had to use my magic I had to I put up a shield so we could not be hurt as Aries was fighting.i had up the shield for a while but he started to break it I had to move yet I can't.Before i knew it the shield broke and yet nothing hit me instead another man was in front of me "why hello my lady nice to meet you"he said i looked at him and noticed he had this look that about him"Leo?" i asked he looked surprised but impressed by my skills"Well Aries it seems your lady is as bright as any other" he said Aries just smiled"of course she is she the strongest holder I have ever had in my lifetime and I would not trade her for the world now get your friend inside melody he's protected in there" Aries told me as I looked back Jason was passed out on the ground I had very little time I had to get him inside now.I moved him inside as Aries and Leo fought the demons outside I got some things together so that I could help him regenerate his magic again Leo coming here takes magic and this is his first time having Leo out in his life it's very tiring.As I was getting things together I heard the door open"Leo Aries" I said standing up they looked tired they must have used a lot of magic yet I feel fine on my end yet Leo seems he needs to go back."Leo, you should go back Aries and I need to have a talk"Leo understood and left he would have lost anyways he was tired and could barely stay out for too long."Aries, we're gonna have to leave in order to prevent this again"I said I was sad but it was for his own good so he can be protected just a bit longer"Before me I was talking with some of the spirits and it seems there is a school that teaches children like you how to use magic you would be useful there plus you would be the second holder to summon a spirit of Zodiac yet you would be way more experienced than her"Aries told me i nodded my head and looked around"we should pack some of my stuff up and then leave before he wakes up" Aries nodded and helped me grab some stuff and pack it up He handed me a bag"I'll hold the rest in my realm so don't worry about this stuff just the stuff you need on the go" Aries said as I nodded my head after finishing getting all my stuff together I asked Aries to pick him up and well drop him off with his mom tell her what happened.we arrived at his house and knocked on the door"hello Melody what happened and.........Aries What are you doing here it's been a long time since I see you" she said surprised but our arrival SHe looked at her son"What happened?"She questioned looking over to her son" he summoned Leo and passed out when we were attacked"I told her she knows Aries so she must know something of what is happening"so he's done it and summoned Leo I thought he was too young"she said she was worried"no Leo came out on his own yet he felt the magic leave his body but we can't stay long now Nina"Aries said it with no hesitation he seems to know Nina very we'll" where are you going I just get to see you again and your here with two of my babies where are Jack and Sevanna"I looked away as Aries looked at Nina"Your looking At their only Daughter and only living rose at the moment Nina"She looked at me"She's the only living rose?they both died when?how?" she said while looking at me tears running down her face I tried to look away it reminds me too much of what i lost"they died when they gave birth to melody 7 years ago and her grandfather died just a few months back I have been watching melody and raising her since then teaching her everything she needs to know" and I was happy that Aries did that for me through my life grandpa looked after me and taught me some things yet Aries has taught me my magic, how to cook, manners everything I have ever known and I love him for that he is like my father that I never had."Aries we must leave before he wakes up" I said and Aries nodded he knew it would hurt me more if he was up"Aries where are you two going"She stated she wants to know she cares for my well-being." me and melody are going to Vernell where melody can use her studies and help the children there melody's skills would be welcomed there and she would be with the people that are like her you should bring your son there when he starts showing signs of magic, for now, he should be safe from demons that were here"Aries told her as he gave her her son and picked me up"We'll be leaving now Nina take care"Aries said before he started running and jumping up to the roofs of the houses.I turned my head back hoping he gets my letter when he awakens"Goodbye Jason" I said in a whisper.
