[Jack's POV]

{The next day at school}

Today I have the class I shared with Mark, Science. Not only did I share it with him, no, I have to sit next to him. 'Today is going to be A living hell', I thought to myself.

As I walked into Ms. William's Science class, the atmosphere changed to an uncomfortable one. I just took my seat, and put my earbuds in, turning the music all the way up, while looking out the window. I was tuning the world, per usual.

Mark walked into the class, and sat next to me. I knew he was trying to get my attention, but I refused to look at him. Soon enough, his presence alone, put me on the verge of tears as the memories came flooding back. I couldn't take it anymore, so I raised my hand.
"Yes Sean?", Ms. William said, obviously annoyed.
"May I go to the restroom?", I asked, innocently.
     "Sure.", she replied.

I got up from my seat, and walked to the door. As soon as I got out of the classroom, I ran. I ran like my life depended on it, when, in reality, only my reputation did.

I got to the bathroom, in a matter of minutes, and I locked myself in one of the stalls. I say down on the closed toilet seat, pulling my knees up to my chest, and started sobbing. Sobbing like there was no tomorrow. I just sat there like the worthless piece of shit I am.

After a couple minutes of sobbing, like the idiot I am, I heard footsteps enter the bathroom.
"Sean?", someone asked. I bit my lip to stifle my cries. Footsteps approached the stall I was currently in.
"Sean, open the door.", he pleaded.
     "No.", I replied
"Sean open the door.", he said, a little firmer.
     "No.", I murmured.
     "Okay.", he said.

Suddenly, Mark slid under the door. I jumped a bit at the sudden appearance. He opened the stall, grabbed my hand, and took me out into the actual bathroom.
"Sean, what's wrong?", Mark asked, lifting my head with his thumb and index finger under my chin.
     "Nothing.", I mumbled.
"Sean.", he stretched out my name.
     "Nothing!", I said, sterner.
     "Sean c'mon.", he said, persuasively.
"It's nothing Mark!", I cried out, breaking any physical contact between us.
"Sean, I know you're lying.", he said calmly.
"You really wanna know the truth?! Fine!", I yelled, "Asher said that you liked me when we first met, but after school that day, he said you didn't. My, worthless, piece of shit, self, actually thought I had a chance. I really am retarded."

Mark just stood there, looking astonished as I finished. It was silent, really silent. Almost too silent for comfort. What have I done?

Yup, another shitty chapter, but what can I say? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed, and I'll see ya in the next pre-written chapter!
