Jude. Out of all kids Jude. He's not even athletic like Jesus. So how could this possibly happen? "Callie. Were you aware that Jude has asthma?" Lena concerned.

"This one time when he was 7 he had an attack. But ever since then he was fine." You can tell in her voice that she was worried and about to cry.

"Well he was learning basketball with Jesus and he wasn't able to breath. We rushed him to the hospital and left him for the night as soon as he was stable." She continued.

Callie demanded to see him.

Moms were making dinner and said that we all would go to see him when it's ready. During dinner Callie didn't eat. She just pushed her food around with her fork. It was heartbreaking to see her like this.

During the car ride Callie's head was down. She was silently crying to herself. But when I put my hand down on her knee she finally picked her head up. Her eyes were puffy, red and tears stained her face. She gave my a small smile and she curled her hand into mine. Mariana sat next to us. Which probably wasn't the best idea ever. But hopefully she can keep a secret.

Arriving at the hospital, Callie was the first one to get out. She left the rest of the family behind and rushed to the desk demanding to see her brother. "Callie. Callie calm down. Okay. He's okay. You'll see him. Okay. They're going to let you see him." Stef tried her best to calm Callie down until she started bursting into tear.

"Brandon can you bring Callie to Jude in room 479 please. Callie I'm going to leave you and Jude alone okay? He's okay." Callie turned around to walk with me.

Walking to Jude's room was quiet and awkward. I really wanted to hold her had so she would understand that I am here for her. But I wasn't sure if she would get mad at me or not. When we got to the room, Jude looked worn out and weak. He was laying on his back watching something on TV. "Hey buddy." She said softly and Jude turned his head and smiled.

I leaned against the door frame and paid attention to how Callie handled this. Soon after she laid beside him while he fell asleep on her chest. Soon after Jude woke up asking for food. Callie started to stand up but Jude pulled her back down. "No. Stay. Can Brandon go. Please?" He begged.

"It's fine I'll go. No big deal." I smiled at Callie and walked out passing my mom the all.

When I walked back in Callie bursted into tears. Stef took her by the shoulder and took her outside to the garden. I stayed with Jude. Made sure he resting. Callie came back in with years stained to her face. Callie didn't want to leave after promising Jude she'd stay the night next him. Stef felt like it was best if Callie got some sleep at home and we all came back in the morning.

The ride home was upsetting. Callie kept her head against the window. I saw tears fall from her eyes. She constantly rubbed her nose cutely like she always does for some reason. I tried getting her attention by outing my hand on her knee. But she ignored me.

When we walked back into the house Lena turned around "I have an idea. Why don't we watch a movie and get our mind off of things." She looked over to Callie who started walking passed her "I'll pass." She said with distress.

"Can someone go upstairs and talk to Callie. Please." Stef looked at everyone who was walking to the living room. Only I and Lena were left in the room.

"I'll go." I was nervous to say that. I hoped they didn't think I had a thing for her. Then again I don't think they know I broke up with Thalia.
