I wake up pretty early this morning. I usually go back to sleep for a while but considering that Alex hasn't been to sleep yet I decide to get up.

"Hey baby, did you sleep good?" He yawns.

I can tell he's tired, he's got bags under his eyes and he keeps yawning. I feel bad that we can't sleep at the same time, but I know it's for the best right now and hopefully it doesn't have to last for too much longer.

"Yeah I slept pretty good, but hey just thought I'd let you know, I'm going to go out for a little while and I'll be back later. I want you to get some sleep while I'm gone though."

"Okay I will." he yawns pulling the covers over himself again.

I make my way over to the bathroom to start getting ready.

"Do you think you'll be okay while I'm gone?"

"Yeah I think I'll be fine." He says.

"Okay I won't be gone too long, I love you."

"Love you." He says half asleep as I kiss his cheek.

I check the mirror one last time to make sure my makeup is covering my eye good and head out.

I decide to go to the library to see if I can find something on this post traumatic stress thing and see if I can find anything out on how I could go about helping Alex.

When I get to the library I spot Mrs. Diana in her same old spot as always.

"Hi Mrs. Diana, how are you?"

She's been here ever since I was a little girl and I've always enjoyed seeing her.

"Georgia, my goodness! How are you sweetie? It's been ages." She says getting up from her desk to embrace me.

"I'm good, it's so nice to see you again. I actually had a question for you." I say.

"Yes of course honey." She says.

"I was wondering if you carried any books on things like stress or different mental disorders."

"Well of course, I'll take you to them. I heard Alex was home, how's he been doing?"

"Oh um...he's good." I say to her.

"Well that's great. Here's all the books." She says pointing to the shelf.

"Are you doing some type of research for the nursing program your in?" She ask.

"Oh, um yeah....those old research papers, always a pain in the neck." I lie as I laugh along with her.

I don't want to make matters any worse for Alex and I letting other people know about what's been happening these last couple of days.

"Oh I know what you mean dear. Well it was nice seeing you again and I hope you find what you looking for." She says with a sweet smile.

I end up finding a book called "The aftermath", which tells all about what can happen after an individual endures a tragic event. I begin reading the book and all of the symptoms listed seem to match what Alex has been going through these last couple of days.

One thing I was sort of relieved to find out though, is that it's more common than I thought. I was also relieved to find out that there's a medication that people struggling with this can take and if it can him then I'm all for it.
