Logic?

Before I retire for the night, I wanted to bring this up.

To those who read Inuyasha fanfiction, especially the more mature ones, let me ask you this?

How much logic is applied?

Most people tend you make characters like Inuyasha and Sesshomaru more.....possessive animal demon, yes? I mean, they are dogs. And that means they are affected by female heat. That also means that they most likely reproduce just like a dog.

It's kind of weird to think about it.

An example would be a Sesshomaru x OC!Insert fanfiction. The author will typically make Sesshomaru feel the despire to mate with a female. In the case of the story, it would be the original character. Not only will the author add these desires, but they will normally incorporate every animalistic thing possible before going overboard. And it kind of makes sense. Sesshomaru is a male dog. A demon, but also a dog. You'd think that logically he'd have the traits of a dog. A dog plus the extra demon.

Anyways.....what I'm trying to say is.....

What about sex?

That's kind of straightforward, but I don't know how to tone it down without confusing anyone.

Sesshomaru is a dog.

Dogs don't reproduce in the same way as humans.

Sesshomaru is also a demon.

Demons most likely don't reproduce the same way as humans.

So.....

Would Sesshomaru basically follow the rules of a dog when having sex?

.....or maybe it's a combination?

For fucks sake.

Why am I writing this.

It just puzzles me.

I think authors who write Sesshomaru lemons don't really think about it, but that's basically bestiality.

I mean, with Inuyasha himself it could be a different story. He's half human, half dog demon. He could reproduce the same way as a human and it would be relatively logical.

But Sesshomaru.

Ah fuck.

Just lock this in your mind-Sesshomaru is a dog.
