I'm firmly aware of each security camera that hangs from the street's lamp posts, each about 150 feet apart. It's dark. I think, glancing behind me at the unlit alley. It's dark and the cameras are shitty. They won't be able to find me. I take a deep, slow breath, careful to keep sound out of my activities as I walk a few steps forward. I hear nervous mumbling grow nearer and I grin, reaching into my leather bag and pulling out a folded white cloth and a bottle filled with bluish liquid. I made quick work of coating the cloth with the fluid and not spilling any, having done this a hundred times before. I tilt my head slightly, jerking it forward to make a scratching sound, the goat horns and the worn bricks colliding beautifully with the horrified gasp from the girl. "H-Hello?" She calls softly, her voice strangely and hauntingly melodic in the silence of the warm summer night. I hear her foot steps come towards me and I press my back to the old building, waiting patiently as I watch. I finally see a girl turn the corner and lock eyes with me.
Her scream of fear is quickly muffled by the rag, her hands gripping my wrist that held up the cloth as my other hand pressed to her upper back lightly to catch her. "Shhhh..." I soothe gently, smiling at her as her eyes flutter. Her body sags and I catch her, lifting her up bridal style. I walk down the alley, back the way I came. I see a sleek black car and smirk for a brief second, shifting slightly as I walk up to it. I open the back passenger's side door and set the girl in gently, pulling my bag off my shoulder and dropping it into the passenger's seat. I open a small compartment that's been forged into the foot space beneath the seat, pulling out hand cuffs. I attach them to her wrist after shifting them behind her back. I reach underneath the passenger's seat and feel around for a second, smiling when I feel the cool metal. I pull out another set of cuffs, the chain being much longer and looped through a metal ring that's welded into the floor of the car, though it's hidden by the seat. I put those around her ankles, standing up straight and closing the door.
Once I'm seated in the driver's seat, I finally take the time to actually look at the girl. She's roughly my age, though she has an air of mature innocence to her. Maybe 23 or 24, about two years or so older than I. Her dark brown hair is rather flat, and it's draped over her shoulders, a single small braid tucked behind her ear. She wears no makeup, most likely due to the fact that she has no idea how to use the ridiculous cosmetics, and her long eyelashes brush against her naturally pink tinted cheeks. Her nose seems just a bit too small for her face, and her pale green eyes seem a little too big, evening her features out perfectly. Her plump pink lips are parted slightly, though she's breathing through her nose. She wears a plain grey shirt that's torn methodically in the shoulders, a simple chain necklace with a bolt hanging from her neck. She has on plain dark denim jeans on, the knees and hips being washed out to a baby blue color. Her black wedges brought the outfit together nicely, her black denim backpack now resting on the seat next to her, the steel studs shining slighting in the street lights.
Overall, she's a very pretty girl. And her life isn't bad. She works as a waitress at a very high-class restaurant, she has great promise in her schooling, she has a decent group of friends, and she's engaged to a man named Jonathan. I stare at her for a second more, shrugging and turning back to face the road. I start my car and start driving, glancing at the clock. 2:54 A.M.. Huh. How convenient. From what I'd found out, she had been at a party with one of her closer friends, the likes of whom had been a bad influence. She'd always drank too much and had constantly been asking for money for (though the girl didn't know it) drugs. I had wanted to take her instead, but she didn't fit my needs. She wasn't innocent enough. The girl I had taken, however...She was perfect for the job. I chuckle to myself as I drive, leaning over and turning on the radio to muffle the silence. Pain by Three Days Grace comes on, making me grin. I sing along, leaving my headlights off due to the brightness of the moon.
