RILEYS POV
"Mom I'm home." I said walking into my house when I got home from school. "Hey did Rob call?" I said excitedly
"Yeah he called and said he was alright and that he missed his little sister. And his friend Ryan said hi." Mom said
"Oh okay." I was sad that I wasn't home to talk to Rob but hey at least he is okay.
"Well I'm gonna go to my room." I said climbing the stairs
"Okay your dad will be home shorty Allen's with him and your sisters are in their rooms." Mom told me
"K." I hollered back as I entered and shut my bedroom door.
~A couple hours later~
BANG! I shot up in my bed I looked around looking for what crashed to the floor. But there was nothing there. BANG! I jumped up this time and saw a flash come from my window. I scurred over to the window and pulled curtains back. I was in shock and in total awe, air planes were flying over head and it looked like atomic bombs blowing up in the distance. I ran downstairs to the kitchen and I saw my mom crying into my dad's chest. Allen was sitting with my two sisters on the couch they all looked terrified and in as much shock as I was. I looked at my dad and he held my mom close as she sobbed into him.
"Dad?" I said shyly "Whats... going on?"
"I don't know.....the world....its ending." he said and those words stayed with me forever.
"What do you mean it's....ending?" I asked not wanting to know the anwser.
"The news came on for a split second and said that a new virus has been leaked out of the CDC and that it is the end of the world their is no cure yet. They don't know if their will be. But to take cover bored up everything, get food and weapons and stay alive. Many have been infected and biting others and infecting more. We have to leave Atlanta." Dad finished.
"Where's Rob!" My eyes watered up with fear.
Mom sobbed harder."He was out with the Marines trying to stop the infection and one snuck up behind him and bit him in the shoulder. They couldn't save him a dozen more smelled the blood and attacked him."Dad said I crashed to the floor I couldn't believe what was happening to me, to my family,to my country, my world!

Okay this was a flash back into Riley's past. I wanted to give more background on her. I will write the next few chapters the same way so that it will catch up to when she found Daryl. It will probably take maybe five chapters maybe less maybe more I'm not sure yet. I wanna give some good detail and get in depth with the back ground. I hope you enjoy!VOTE, COMMENT,MESSAGE! 😁
