(Song which Mary sings)

"Hello, Mr Castillo." Mary asked opening up a big office door.

"Yes, Yes. Come on in." Mr Castillo said and Mary walked through the doors smiling. "Mary, please take a seat and please call me Oscar." Oscar finished smiling at Mary who got comfortable in the chair. "Mary why do you want to be a singer?" Oscar asked. Mary pondered for a while.

"I don't want to be the next Beyoncé or get into feuds with people like the Kardashians. I want to be singer so I can be like Joss Stone and inspire people or Carole King. I just want to share my life with people and the only way to do that for me is through music." Mary rambled on. Oscar nodded his head. "Music is my passion, singing helps me get through everything like when my sister left us or when my boyfriend cheated on me."

"What kind of genre is your go to?" Oscar asked getting out a notebook and he began to write notes.

"I love country, Dolly Parton is my savior. So Country but I also do some pop but I would hate to go down that route." Mary answered, Oscar raised an eyebrow.

"Some people believe that pop now a days is a big part of our music industry and that is what people like to listen too." Oscar replied.

"I want to change that and define music." Mary stated bluntly. Oscar smiled and nodded.

'I think you are strong and independent. Which is good in the music industry." Oscar stated smiling, "but I fear you do not have any emotions or you bottle them all up and I want you to express that." Oscar finished and Mary looked sad.

"I may come across like that because so far this year has been shit and I have lost people." Mary answered bluntly. "I want to express my emotions but I am too scared too." Mary expressed. Oscar looked into her eyes.

"Explain to me your emotions right now." Oscar demanded. Mary nodded her head and played the music on her phone.

"Two a.m. and the phone starts ringin'

You didn't know you didn't mean to keep me waiting'

Maybe a little part of me is still tryin' to believe
You mean it when you say it
But, let's not complicate it with

Those three words ain't gonna make it right this time
Those three words won't keep me up another night
Makin' up is not enough, when you keep makin' up new ways to make it hurt
You can't fix it with those three words

You pull that line like a parachute
Like it'll save you from the stupid things you do
Maybe I was always there to catch you, maybe I would care
If you cared at all
I'd be waiting there to fall for

Those three words ain't gonna make it right this time
Those three words won't keep me up another night
Makin' up is not enough, when you keep makin' up new ways to make it hurt
You can't fix it with those three words

Those three words used to be mean everything
But those three words, now they don't mean anything

Those three words ain't gonna make it right this time
Those three words won't keep me up another night
Makin' up is not enough, when you keep makin' up new ways to make it hurt
You can't fix it with those three words

Those three words ain't gonna make it right this time
Those three words won't keep me up another night
Makin' up is not enough, when you keep makin' up new ways to make it hurt
You can't fix it with those three words

Those three words
Those three words." Mary sang and at the end the tears began to run down her face. "I am so sorry." She cried wiping her tears. Oscar just clapped.

"Mary, you have talent and that song was very good and powerful." Oscar exclaimed clapping his hands together.

"It was written about my ex-boyfriend." Mary stated, "he broke me heart." Mary added and it went silent. Mary sure did know how to make things awkward. 4

"I think you can go big, but you will need to work." Oscar said sternly. Mary nodded her head.

"Oh defiently, I will. Here is all of my music sheets and some other song lyrics. The school's talent show auditions will be happening next week so I will be sampling some of my songs there." Mary said grabbing sheets of paper from her bag and handing it to Oscar. "Thank you so much for this." Mary exclaimed.

There conversation ended and Mary shortly left. "I could be a popstar!" Mary squealed outside on the street. She got the bus back to her house and ran inside. Her family were fighting.

"Be quiet family members, I have great news." Mary shouted, earning her family members attention.

"You left the funeral and we didn't know where you went." Alice stated with pursed lips.

"Oscar Castillo called me and I had to go. He is big in the music industry and he thinks I can go big." Mary expressed. Betty ran over to her sister and hugged her,

"Mary this is amazing, I am so happy for you." Betty exclaimed, Mary just laughed.

"Thank you so much Betty." Mary laughed. Her dad walked over to them.

"Mary that is amazing." Her dad cried hugging her as well. Alice looked at Mary.

"People saw you speaking to a southside serpent, is that true?" Alice asked crossing her arms over.

"Who Ryder?" Mary asked. "I think we will just be great friends. I think I like Reggie." Mary muttered the last bit.

"Honey, I am so proud of you." Alice hugged her daughter. They had celebrations and Mary ran up the stairs and called Reggie. He was the only person she wanted to share this news with, the only person she wanted. Now Mary

"Mary, hey." Reggie muttered into the phone. Mary laughed.

"I have exciting news." Mary squealed. Reggie immediately woke up, it was three o'clock in the morning. The celebrations went on for a while.

"Tell me." Reggie said.

"Oscar Castillo is going to help me become a singer." Mary exclaimed shouting into the phone.

"Oh my god, Mary that is amazing." Reggie exclaimed into the phone.

"I wish I could celebrate with you right now." Mary expressed. Reggie looked at the time and then smiled.

"Pop's is open 24 hours?" Reggie asked through the phone raising his eyebrow.

"I mean I am in my pyjamas, but come round now and we can go." Mary replied before switching off her phone and running down the stairs quietly and slipping on her uggs.

Her and Reggie walked through Pop's doors and got to a booth.

"We haven't done this since the dance." Reggie stated breaking the ice.

"Good night." Mary muttered smiling to herself. Reggie just nodded. "I want to apologise for everything." Mary said holding onto Reggie's hand.

"I was a bit of a jerk." Reggie said shaking his head, she was admitting what he did.

'I know." Mary sighed and Reggie rolled his eyes.

"I am pretty sure we have had this conversation." Reggie replied muttering. Mary just laughed and leaned over and kissed Reggie, they both gently pulled away.

"You happy now." Mary whispered with their faces millimeters apart.

"How does it feel to kiss the football captain?" Reggie asked smirking. Mary looked at him confused.

"Really?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "You have to do that." Reggie laughed. Mary then looked confused. "I thought it was Archie?" Mary questioned smirking.

"He gave it to me, I think it was because I shouted at him for cheating on you or because he wants to concentrate on music." Reggie replied and Mary nodded.

"A little bit of both." Mary said getting up out of the booth and moving into Reggie's. "Also thank you for saying that Archie but him and I are cool now." Mary whispered into his ear. Reggie smirked. Mary looked at his lips and they kissed again.
