"Is it true that you're going on a date with Kevin tonight?" Juliet asked when she sat down next to me.
I turned to face her slowly. I couldn't understand why Juliet of all people would talk to me. She hates me, I hate her. It's a win win situation. But apparently she didn't get my 'fuck off and never talk to me' memo, because she had been following me around all day trying to get information out of me. I didn't have any information because Kevin hadn't told me anything except to 'dress nice'.
What does 'nice' even mean? Like, we're going out to dinner nice or, we're going to a club nice?
I decided last night that my short, black, body-con dress would do. I could dress it up or dress it down. It was perfect.
"You know for a fact that I am, Juliet. So piss off." I rolled my eyes, taking a sip of my coffee. Juliet sighed, but continued to pester me.
"Could you put in a good word for me, please?" She practically begged.
"Yeah, of course." I rolled my eyes. "I'll tell my date how great you are." I stood up, leaving the community room and Juliet.
My date is in three hours. Well, Kevin told me he'll 'swing by at seven'. That gave me enough time to have a relaxing bath and take my time while I get ready. I decided to go to my mom's on-campus room because that way I could have a bath and chill. I pulled my jacket tighter around me as I walked briskly to where my mom stay sometimes. She's usually off-campus. Honestly, I hate calling it a 'campus' because it's basically about four mansions on a ridiculously huge piece of land. There's also a coffee shop and and a restaurant. I reached my mom's room and knocked on the door, to which she opened with a wide smile, ushering me inside.
"Are you excited for your date?" She asked brightly, sitting down on the couch with a glass of wine. I shrugged, pulling off my jacket and hanging it up, placing my bag next to it.
"I'd say I'm more nervous than anything, really." I admitted, making my way towards the bathroom. "It's been so long since I've been on an actual date. I don't even know where he's taking me!" I called out, running the bath and stripping off. I wrapped a towel around me before going back out to talk to mom.
"Well, Kevin doesn't seem like a dinner type of guy." She set her glass on the table. "Don't get your hopes up, sweetie."

I had just put my shoes on, a brand new pair of Choo's, when there was a knock at my door. I let out a long breath, picked up my phone and jacket before opening it to see Kevin. He was dressed in black Vans, black jeans, a black dress shirt and a leather jacket. All black. It was hot.
"Lookin' good, babe." He winked when I had stepped out and closed the door. I blushed at his comment and we walked side by side until we were off site and stood in front of a fancy, white car. He opened the passenger side door for me and I got in, closing the door as he went round the other side. I wasn't expecting much conversation, but I didn't think that there'd be none at all. The journey had already been about an hour, and I'd heard 'Paradise City' five times.
"Do you mind if I put some music on?" He shrugged in response, staring straight ahead as he zoomed up the empty road. I looked through his small, limited CD collection and suprisingly found something I liked. Don't get me wrong, Kevin had awesome music taste, but Steven and Axl get a bit tiring after a while. I smiled as I put the CD in, skipping straight to track two.
"You like Manson?" Kevin asked in utter shock.
"Duh." I laughed. "Marilyn's the best." I said, bobbing my head along to The Dope Show.
