To stop loving you,
is like to stop drinking coffee
every morning before breakfast.
It's possible, it's good for me
but I just can't.
You see, coffee tastes best
when you've tasted nothing before.
It's the most palatable,
the most addictive.
Two things I'm addicted to,
coffee
and you.
You see, to stop loving you
is like telling a dog to stop
chasin' it's tail,
where's the fun in that ?
For a dog the best part is
not grabbing hold of it's tail
it's the chase.
Have you noticed?
when you go round in circles
you only feel dizzy after you stop,
the world keeps spinning
round and round
the floor keeps tilting
to one side and then the other.
Just for a couple of seconds.
but without you,
the world doesn't stop spinning,
the floor crumbles underneath my feet.
Without you, I forget how with you
it's nothing but fairy tales
and fiction.
So tell me,
how can you remember something
you've forgotten you need to remember?
