I realize now, your eyes, they were like an icey mountain range. Standing there right in front of me, yet so completely out of reach. The whole truth obscured by a heavy snow fall. So much so that I couldn't see the top. Only the base of the mountains that made up the you that I once knew so well. That is, if I ever really knew you at all.
