Chapter 21

I screamed, Christina and Angi were standing in the doorway. I hugged their necks, trying to calm down.

Me and Angi had talked through instagram for about 2 months, and me and Christina talked basically all the time. I'd missed her so much. We all walked inside and they set their suitecases and bags on the kicthen table.

"So why didn't you go to the boys house?" I asked, as we all took seats on the couch.

"Well, I'm actually planning on moving here, and I want to look at apartments. Corbean thinks I'm coming Friday. So can I crash here?" Christina said, she acted a tad bit nervous. Her hands were shaky, and her eyes were really wide. I suspected something else was going on but I didn't want to push it.

"Yes of course! Just Daniel, is here right now... He stays every other night. So, Wednesday I'll just buy you a hotel room." I said, motioning towards my bedroom. Angi smirked. I shot her a look. "What?" She shook her head, still grinning.

"Okay, it's almost time for him to wake up..." Christina said, looking her at her phone. I looked at her confused. She looked up at me and rolled her eyes "He wakes up at legit the same time every single day." I nodded, now that i'm thinking about it shes right. He always woke up at 7 AM. Exact.

"Uhm.." I looked around, for where they could hide. "ah ha! You guys can chill in Lucy's room until Daniel leaves. He'll leave around noon. But theres an exit, through Lucy's closet so if you guys need to leave or something." I said, I stood up and walked into Lucy's room. She was snoring loudly. I woke her up. She about punched me in the face.

"Lulu, Christina and Angi are here. But Daniel can't know their here. None of the boys can. So their gonna hide in your room until Danni leaves got it?" I said, pinning her arms down.

"Yeah yeah, now let me go back to sleep." She mumbled. I let her arms go and she rolled onto her stomache. In seconds she was snoring again. I gave the girls the go ahead and they tip toed inside. Lucy had a few chairs and a tv in her room. So they girls would be fine. I gave them towels, if they wanted to shower. We shoved their suitecases into Lucy's closet.

We just finsihed setting down a suitcase, when we heard footsteps. I jumped. I whispered "See you guys later." I skurried into the living room, just as Daniel walked in rubbing his hand through his hair. He was just in his boxers. He walked over and kissed me on the head.

"I'm gonna go get Starbucks. Want anything?" I said, walking into my room, to put on wearable clothing. "The usual." He said, I heard him sit on the couch.

"Okay be back in 15. Also try and be quiet Lucy's still sleeping." I said, walking back into the living room, grabbing my wallet. He chuckled "Lucy could sleep through a tornado. I ain't worried." I laughed, agreeing with him.

It was a few hours later. All five girls were getting ready in my bathroom. Aspen had come over, to join us. "So Angi, are you moving here too?" Lucy asked, trying to get her winged liner perfect.

"Yeah, but I'm going to travel back and forth from Portland." She said, swiping the white dust from her face. I coughed as some landed in my mouth. My mouth was only open because I was putting on mascara.

Why were we getting ready? Well Lucy thought we were going to Tilly's birthday party. Little did she know that was tomorrow and Zach was asking her out! We shimmed into tight dresses. "Is Daniel coming with us?" Lucy asked, kneeling on the floor looking for shoes.

"No, the boys have to work tonight on new music." I said, zipping Angi into her dress. "Yeah, Zach hasn't texted me all day. Do you think somethings wrong??" Lucy said, she turned to look at me. Her eyes swelled. Ever since Brooke, she had become more anixous about their relationship. It was sad, that Brooke had managed to break her like that.

"No, I don't think anythings wrong. No ones texted in the groupchat either. Daniel ever left early this morning. I guess music stuff." I said, shrugging, I checked my hair in the mirror. She nodded.

What Lucy didn't know was, we had made a enterily different groupchat without her. So we disscus our plan of action.

We'd been texting all day long. I'd just told Lucy it was Ethan, when she'd questioned me.

*LUCYS POV*

We all got in the Uber. I was still worried about Zach, but I tired to push those negative thoughts down. 

The car pulled up to Starbucks. I frowned.

"Hey I'm gonna go get us drinks. Will you guys help me carry them all??" Ashley said, she opened the car door. Everyone nodded and started sliding out. Everyone but me had gotten out. I was in the third row so it was harder. But then they slammed the doors shut. They locked and the Uber driver sped away.

I turned and looked behind me. Ashley was hailing a taxi, before we turned a corner I watched them all get in.

What was going on??? "Sir where are we going?" I asked, hoping seats until I was right behind him. He ignored me and kept driving. I started panicking.

Then we pulled up to a big tall building. The doors unlocked and I quickly hurried out. This Uber driver was getting -7 Stars.

Then Jonah walked up to me. He was wearing a tux. I recognized it from the Help Me Help You music video.

"Jonah what's going on??" I asked, shakily.

He didn't say anything but grabbed my hand and started walking towards the building. I was so nervous. What was going on?? We got onto the elevator.

The music wasn't just the regular elevator music. It was Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Jonah started nodding his head along with the beat. Then he started singing along. He pulled a single Rose out of his jacket pocket.

I took it. Was this what I think it is?

The door opened on floor 15 and Jack entered, he started singing with Jonah and handed me another rose. My heart was melting.

Then floor 30 Logan entered, he handed me another rose and joined the boys.

Floor 45 Corbyn walked in. He also had a rose. What's the deal with all the roses???

Floor 50 Daniel came in with his guitar. He strummed to the beat. He also handed me a rose. 

Floor 52 , all the boys stepped off. I followed them. We were on a helipad. There stood Ashley and Aspen. Zach was in the middle of the helipad with another rose. He started singing the last verse. I walked closer and closer.

I think my heart was beating out of my chest.

He got to the last line as I reached him. He handed me the sixth rose. 

"Lucy, I know we're just kids. But we're so in love... will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. He grabbed my free hand. He looked into my eyes. Curious. Pleading.

I sighed, and took in the scent of the roses. The wind whipped around us.

"Yes of course Zachary." I said, grinning, he leaned in and we kissed.

Then as soon as he let me go, all the roses whipped out of my hand, but one.

"No!" I screamed, fumbling to grab them out of the air.

Zach grabbed my hand. "Babe it's okay. I'll buy you more roses.."

I nodded and tightened my grip on the last rose.
