Chapter 1 Adoption day

Dear journal,
Hello journal my name is Panda and I am so excited cause today is adoption day! Oh, and just in case you didn't know I'm an orphan so yeah that sucks...But! That may be in the past if I get adopted today so wish me luck!

I set my journal down on my desk and looked around my room that I shared with my best friend Alissa (Shout out to u girl!Antisepticgirl12) be the last time I will ever see it again

In the orphanage there are two people in each room, girls with girls, boys with boys, and if they are related then boy with girl, but sadly I have no brothers or sisters...I think...?

My thoughts we're interrupted by a knock on my door

"Panda it's time to go into the living room for adoption day!"said one of my other friends A.L. (another shout out cause I can! 😋 Animelover15681)

"Okay A.L. I'm coming!"I ran out of my room and we both walked down to the living room were all of the children we're running around and playing

Me and A.L. walked over to the far corner of the room so we could talk while we waited

"Hey Panda...?"
"Yeah A.L."she looked down at the ground "D-do you think that I will ever get adopted?"I gave her a synthetics look"Of course you will, I mean who wouldn't want to adopt you!? Your like one of the nicest kids here!"I said giving her a reassuring smile She looked up at me and smiled "Thanks Panda"she gave me a hug"No problem"after that we went back to talking

"Hey Panda, A.L.!"I looked up to see the one and only Alissa!

"Was up girl"I said in a sassy voice but giggled after
"So what you two talkin about?"she asked
"Random stuff"said A.L., Alissa nodded her head and we started to talk about our favorite things

"Okay children, settle down!"said Ms.Sussie, she's the one who takes care of us all with the help of other people she is really nice and sweet, she like all of our mother,

All of the kids in the room all settled down and looked at Ms.Sussie, she gave us a sweet smile

"Ok children as you can all see today is adoption day!"she said and all of the kids high fived each other an scream "Yeah!"

"Ok so today we have 6 couples coming in today to meet you all so I hope your all ready and put on your best behaviors!"she said then walked out the room

All of the kids started to talk amongst each other but I got up-saying good bye to my friends-and walked into the music room, this is we're I go every adoption day cause to be honest...I'm scared to be adopted...what if they don't like me after this and send me back! Or there very cruel and will abuse me! As I sat there and though of all the bad things that could happen I didn't notice someone walk in

They walked up to me and put a hand on my shoulder

I flinched at first but then turned around and saw a man, he had raven black hair and ice blue eye but some of his hair covered one of them and he wore a mask

"Excuse me but are you ok?"he said, I hesitated but shook my head yes "Hmm...well then why are you in here and not with the other children?"he asked, I looked down at the ground "Can you tell me what's wrong?"I shook my head yes"Ok go ahead"he said then sat down in one of the chairs

I looked at him"I'm n-not Ok cause I'm s-scared that I won't get a-adopted but I'm also scared that if I d-do get adopted that I won't get adopted into the right f-family..."I felt a tear go down my face

"Hey there is no reason for you to be scared of that, I'm sure you will get adopted and into the right family" he said in a sweet voice and I smiled

For a little while we talked for until I realized I never asked his name.

"Uhm excuse me sir but what is your name?"I asked

"Oh how rude of me, my name is Zane, Zane Ro'meave,(did I spell it right?) what's your name?"

"My name is Panda! Nice to meet you Mr.Ro'meave"I said and shook his hand "No need to be formal you can just call me Zane"

"Ok, Zane, are you here by yourself?"he blushes a little under his mask"N-No I'm a actually here with my fiance"my smile grew "Oh can I meet them!"I asked excitedly and he shook his head yes

(Edit:I forgot to mention this but Panda is 7)

He stood up and I grabbed his hand and we walked out of the music room to find his fiance
