1st person
Before anything, I need to introduce myself, it's the proper thing to do. My name is Junako Shurui, I'm 17 years old and a guy, oh and I'm an ultimate. What is an ultimate? You may be asking, well an ultimate is a person who is the very best at a certain thing, such as video games or animal breeding, an ultimate is given their title once they have proven they are the very best at what I do, for me it was . . . being a chairman. So I helped out my old school and raised funds for it through the student council and everyone just started calling me the ultimate chairman, it was ridiculous, but now here I am, two and a half years later still being praised for my skills in 'leading' and 'coordination'. Anyways, now that that's out of the way I should tell you where I am, I'm outside the front gates of a school called Irrumabo Academy, most people just call it Irrumabo though. My place at the academy was confirmed by a letter reading the following
"Dear Mr Shurui we are glad to welcome you to our newest class at Irrumabo academy, under the title of the ultimate chairman. If you want to attend please meet our school talent scouts in the gymnasium at 9:00 am, if you do not want to attend, that is fine but you will not be accepted or given another offer, so please consider all the options when deciding on what to do. Your choice is final and we won't try to persuade you in any way. Sincerely the head master of Irrumabo academy."
I accepted of course, graduating from a place like this means you're set for life, and when I mean set I mean this academy could give you a large amount of money to help forward your career. How did I get the title of ultimate chairman you might be asking, well I was given this title for my outstanding work on the several student councils that I've worked on, I've been able to make vast improvements to many schools and other local areas, I've even been offered some business jobs if things don't work out at the academy. Anyways, I'm kind of nervous if I'm being honest here, I don't really know how many people got in this year, they usually only let 16 students in per class and I have no idea what other ultimates will be inside, only way to know is to go in and find out. God am I nervous.
Taking my first steps into the academy grounds were pretty nerve racking, my feet felt like they were made of stone and I had to use all of my energy to move myself forward, there's no one else here, that's odd. I think I'm early, but I can't say that no one else is not here for certain, they might all be inside. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I made it to the doors, I'm so nervous, what's everyone gonna be like, will I make a good first impression, dose my breath smell (no it doesn't okay thank god) is my hair alright (yup) . . alright . . . I guess it's time to go . . . inside, slowly I placed my hand against one of the decorative door handles and pulled it forward. Nothing happened (huh, why isn't the door opening, am I so early that no ones inside . . . maybe if I . . oh never mind, it opens inwards instead . . . I'm gonna pretend that never happened.) After that awkward scene at the front entrance, I took my real first steps into the academy, nothing too out weird, just a normal hall, a set of doors in front of me, trophy cases beside me, a few notice boards as well (for a school with extremely high budget, this is a VERY normal front entrance). Now according to the letter I had to be at the gym by 9:00 am and the time now is . . . . 8:25!! (Jeez I am early!! . . . okay keep it together, your just a bit early that's all, you could go look around if you wanted . . . yeah why not let's go!) I perked back up immediately and started walking towards the doors in front of me, with my mind set on searching the high school. But. I didn't get very far. *hhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssssssssssss* (what's that noise . . . . . More importantly what's that smell . . . . this . . ) The world began to grow dark and the sight before me began to melt and twist together, and like a light, I was out. I fainted. And so begun my life at the academy, a life I didn't ask for but was instead forced to have. A life, of unfair loss and cruelty that no one deserved.
