Found What I'm Looking For

Elizabeth sighed, knowing she'd die soon. Nobody was kind anymore. She was starving, cold and alone. "So this is how I die, huh?" Elizabeth said as she sprawled on the ground, watching Joey Graceffa's newest video, Don't Wait.

[Elizabeth POV]

I turned on the phone I got from a gracious lady who didn't need it anymore. I sprawled on the ground, starting the video. [Pretend she's watching original vid instead of the AJMV. Start now!] I sung along with the lyrics. 

"I know you've got a strong heart, it's written in the stars. Behind the castle walls, you've hid your light. But when you let the past go, your story unfolds. Look out your window, into the night. The darkness could be sugh a lonely place on your own! I'll be your compass so you never feel alone!!" Before I could finish the song, two men walked up and saw me singing.

[Joey's POV]

When we were walking home, Daniel and I, we heard a girl, about nine years old by the voice, singing... Singing our song. I could still hear the music video playing, she stopped singing in surprise. "J-jo...ey.....?" She said, lightly, almost whispering. "Uh... Y-yeah! Th-that's me!" I was surprised to meet a fan that wasn't in a house, or.. running up to me. I could see cuts on her wrists. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.. I got snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Daniel say, "Joey, we need to take her home. She's depressed, and homeless.. And... we're her idols." I agreed with him.

[Elizabeth's POV] 

Th-they're adopting me! My idols are adopting me! My heart skipped about five beats before I jumped up and down, running to Joey and Daniel, hugging them tightly with happy tears in my eyes. "Thank you..." I said softly as they walked and I got inbetween them, I looked up at them, they exchanged glances. They smiled and held both my hands. And that's the last thing I could thing I could remember before I fainted of exhaustion from missing so many hours of sleep.

"What happened?!" I could hear them say in unision as I slowly faded away into the dark depths of my mind.
