"Who are you?" The teacher peered at me.
"New." I say handing her the pink slip
"Uh. Class this is Kolin. And he'll be joining us.." she sounded so uninterested in every word but who cares it's just another school. The ninth one to be exact. I carried my sketch book and backpack to the back of the room sitting in the farthest corner. I flipped open my sketch pad and started sketching out the teachers blank expression she wasn't pretty she was older, her face was round and plump her eyes sagged a little and her mouth seemed to be pulled in a straight line.
I looked down at my pad for a few minutes when I heard the teacher speak up.
"Ms. Hopps... you're late." I look up to see a beautiful girl with medium length red hair.
"Sorry Ms. Santos." She smiled nervously. Her skin was porcelain, she could have been a ginger but you could clearly tell her hair was dyed.her freckles splattered across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose and those eyes, a deep coffee color that sucked me in and held me in the depths of the dark warm color. I looked away quickly so it wasn't creepy. I turned to a new page and looked up she sat three tables in front of me, she pushed a piece of hair behind her ear, her nose was like a little button not exactly like a ski slope she didn't quite have the point but it was still perfect for her face. I began to map out her face it was rough and didn't do her any justice but hey, for only working on it for ten minutes.. it didn't look half bad. The bell rang a quarter past 2 letting everyone know school had ended. She was the first one out the door and I was the last.
