We Are Family Friends !!!

After roaming in the market for an hour, they headed for their home.

" Where do you stay?" Shivaay asked Mallika, completely ignoring Annika.

" We live in the outskirts, where there is always peace " said Annika with much excitement.

" Ohh...really Annika? That's great! My parents are also staying in a friend's house in the outskirts, so can we go together? " Shivaay asked Annika this time.

" Yeah, yeah...sure Shivaay! " Mallika interrupted in between. Annika smiled and hided her sadness.

The three of them reached the outskirts of Manali, beside a flower garden, there was a big house. It was of Annika's house. Mallika lived with her. So she went with her, Shivaay was startled.

" Is this your house ?" Shivaay asked, and showed them his father's message. " My father messaged me this adress, it is his friend's house " he continued.

" Ohh god! That means We Are Family Friends " Annika exclaimed while they jumped in happiness.
Three of them entered the house to find all the elders sitting on the couch, having tea and chatting.

On the left side, Annika's parents Ranvijay and Sakshi were sitting with their heads tilted towards Tej and Janvi, Shivaay's parents. In the middle, Mallika's father Dev was sitting and all of them were laughing and talking heartily.

" Oh....bete tum log aagaye " said Ranvijay and beckoned the three of them to come inside.

Shivaay, Mallika and Annika came inside, and then they got to know that they were family friends. Shivaay's parents, Annika's parents and Mallika's father were best of friends in college.

In Mallika's Room

The room was decorated beautifully, the pink curtains, with matching teddies and flower shaped pillows were looking cute. Three of them were sitting and chatting.

Shiv - Wow Malli....your room is amazing....right Annika?

Annika felt bad as he abbreviated Mallika's name but forgot to shorten her name.

Mallika - Thank you. I made the decorations.

She lied ! The room was decorated by Annika. Mallika taking up the credit was used to Annika. But this time, it felt bad. Shivaay kept on talking to Mallika while she was blushing. Annika was just staring at the two. She was happy about the possibility of something more than friendship between Shivaay and Mallika but her heart ached a great deal.

Days passed! The bond between the three of them strengthened specially the bond between Shivaay and Mallika. Three of them were inseparable. Of course, they were friends for life as well as family friends.

One day, Shivaay asked out Mallika cutely.

Shiv - Hey Malli...Kya tum mere saath ice-cream khane chalogi?

Mallika was super mature in these matters, " Is it an Ice- cream date?" She asked making him go red in embarrassment. He nodded, she held his arm and pulled him to the ice-cream parlour which was a lil far from their house. Annika saw them going together, she suppressed her tears. But why? Why she felt that way? A ten year old girl couldn't understand the reason, so she thought maybe she was feeling bad because they didn't took her to the ice-cream parlour, she loves to eat ice-cream.

Mallika And Shivaay were having a great time. Shivaay took Chocolate Gourmet, it was his favourite. Mallika ordered Tutty Fruity, she loved it.
Both of them started eating. While having, a portion of the melted ice-cream scarred on her nose, Shivaay wiped it off. They both shared a cute eyelock full of innocence but certainly not Love.
