Yu and Mika were sitting in the break room. Mika was eating plain old potato chips and Yu was eating table salt with a side of steak. Mika looked at Yu with his salt and steak and back to his plain chips. Salt and steak, plain chips. He was really beginning to envy Yu. Blast that raven haired idiot with the too green eyes and the salt that he was really starting to like the look of. Their break was going to end in ten minutes and the salt was disappearing, fast. So were Mika's chips. He was starting to panic. The salt was going past those lips like water from a hose. Mika began to breath heavily. He was running out of time. And he so wanted that salt. Maybe with a little extra bargain too. His heart began to race as another pinch of the white powder disappeared. Panic began to run as he opened his mouth, throat dry. He shoved another handful of chips in his mouth and chewed. More salt sacrificed to the Salt King. Salt that could flavour his chips. Mika frowned. He couldn't take it anymore. His heart was exploding as he stood up. He felt like fainting as he walked over to his raven haired coworker. There was only a pinch left. Yu's hands reached for it and Mika panicked.
"NO!" He leapt forward and tackled Yu to the floor. Mika gulped and Yu glared up at him.
"What was that for?!" He cried. It was now or never.
"Can I borrow your salt to put on my chips?"
