Chapter One "The Return of Malik"
It was the night before Christmas and Garside was silent. It was snowing heavily. There was no one around Garside. Within the living room the fire place was burning bright. Within the fire is the remains of Maliks dust. Suddenly, the dust is thrown out from the fire onto the floor.
The dust starts to reconstruct. Then. Standing there with fangs out, eyes blood red. Malik is there. He is incredibly thirsty for blood, so he hisses and dashes out away from Garside.
Later in the night. Malik is walking around an empty dark street. He is seeking someone to drain, he sees a girl leaving a clubhouse and he follows her into an alleyway.
He corners her, grabs her, and bites her draining every last drop of blood from her. He then let's go of the body and it falls to the ground. Malik has blood round his mouth, dripping down onto his shirt. He then dashes off to a bar and has a couple drinks.
Back at Garside. Ingrid and Piers are watching a movie. Then the doorbell rings, so Ingrid gets up and goes and opens the door. Ingrid can't believe who she's looking at. Malik: "Hi Ingrid". Ingrid doesn't say anything, she just stares at him. Malik: "Erm. Hello???" Ingrid then slaps him round the face and says. Ingrid: "I thought you were dust Malik! I put your dust in the fireplace.
"Malik: "I don't know how I came back to my unlife. But I am back". Ingrid then actually hugs Malik. Ingrid: "I'm really happy your alive. Well as alive as Vampires can be. C'mon in". Malik comes In and they go into the living room. Piers had fallen asleep, as it's three in the morning. Ingrid gets Malik a glass of O- type blood.
While this is going on, Piers wakes up and heads upstairs to bedroom and gets into bed and falls back to sleep.
Malik smirks and drinks the blood. Malik: "Oh
garlic. This is delicious. What's that, O- blood?". Ingrid: "Yeah it is. It wasn't easy to obtain. O- blood is very rare these days". Malik enjoys it. Malik: "Well it's really good". Ingrid stands up. Ingrid: "I'm gonna get some sleep Malik. I'll see you tomorrow. Oh and. Your room is just as you left it. Except there's a TV and sofa in there now". Malik: "Thanks Ingrid. Goodnight". Ingrid dashes off upstairs. Malik watches the TV and enjoys some more of the O- blood. He then goes to sleep.
The next morning Piers wakes Malik up, as he had fallen asleep on the living room sofa. Piers: "C'mon Malik. Wakey wakey". Malik opens his eyes, looks at Piers and hisses. Malik: "A breather. Nice. Something to snack on". He goes to bite Piers but Ingrid dashes in.
Ingrid: "Malik no! Don't hurt Piers! He's my boyfriend". Malik looks at Ingrid. Malik: "Okay. First Vlad dates a breather. His dad falls in love with one. And now you! This is crazy. What's with you Draculas loving breathers". Ingrid looks at Piers. Ingrid: "They aren't so bad once you get to know them". Malik looks away and then back. Malik: "I think I'll just stick with Vampires to go out with!" Malik then dashes off up to his room. He gets into his coffin and rests.
A few hours later, Malik comes downstairs and speaks to Ingrid. Malik: "I just noticed. Where's Vlad and the others?". Ingrid looks at him. Ingrid: "Vlad and Talitha went off together to see the world. Vlads incredibly powerful now by the way. Dad and Renfield went to Australia, oh and Renfields a Vampire now. Although he's still just as repulsive and useless when he was a breather".
Malik looks at Ingrid. Malik: "So Vlads now properly become The Chosen One?". Ingrid: "Yep. Although he did have a choice to become a breather or remain a Vampire. He was going to become a breather but his love for Taliths made him decide to remain a Vampire". Malik: "Well that's pretty cool I guess. Oh man I'm starving, I'm gonna make something to eat" Malik walks off to the kitchen.
