~Jazmine~

This is not the end of my story.

Eight words could never be so wrong. My story didn't have a happy ending. I died in agony. On the table for weeks, constantly being resurrected. I watched everyone I ever loved hope for me to make it through, although they knew it was inevitable.

After five long weeks, they called it.

"Clear!" I felt shock course through me. "I need more AB positive stat!"

I was still losing blood, and a lot of it. I was plugged up to about a million machines, nurses and doctors surrounded me, my parents stood outside the door.

"Clear!" Another shock runs through me. Blood flows into my body, but quickly flows out. "Clear!"

What they failed to notice once I got to the hospital was a small piece of ribs had punctured both lungs and another bad sliced through and artery. I was bleeding internally and suffocating from it.

"I'm calling it. TOD, 23:57."

And that was the end of my suffering. I could be with Jacob forever. I could be a huntress forever. I could live the life I never asked for, but love so dearly, forever.

The world would be with one less person. A team of gymnasts without a star. A competition with one less competitor. A family with one less child. A house with one more empty room. A house filled with bittersweet memories. San Diego now with one less inhabitant. One secret girlfriend without her secret lesbian lover. One best friend who was left with the loss of not one but two people she held so dearly, a lover and a best friend.

Delyla Cranberry, my friend and lover, delivered the eulogy at my funeral. She lived to be twenty six, she died in a car crash. She left behind a husband and two children. Jazmine, age 5 and Jacob, age 3.

As for Jacob Black, he died shortly after I was put in the hospital. He was 13. He was on his motorcycle and wrecked into a tree. He died quickly and didn't feel anything.

My sister, Katherina lived to be 47. She died of stage 4 leukemia. She left behind a son and two grandkids. Her son, Joshua was 25, he had two sons, Zeke and Zavier, both were 8.

My mother, Morgan Ellwood, she lived to be 97 years young. She died of natural causes and she had fulfilled her purpose in life. Even after the loss of her daughters and husband.

Jared, my father, lived to be 94. He too died of natural causes. The only thing he didn't get to do was walk his daughter down the aisle.

Everything you know is what I've experienced since my death.

You see, death isn't the end. You live another life starting at the age you died. You remember everything but death, and if anyone had died near your death.

A day in the real world, is a month after death.

I realized that I'd rather live forever with something my mind had created than the real world.

So I stop fighting and went back to being the invisible Jazmine Brooke Argent- soon to be Mrs. Jazmine Black.

It was the end to one story, but it started another.

I take one last look in the mirror before taking a deep breath.

"You look beautiful Mommy." Morgan whispers.

"You do too sweetie." I smile.

"Come on, daddy's waiting." She states grabbing my hand. I take a deep breath before following her to the hall. I grab my bouquet and Morgan grabs her basket of petals. She follows Lydia down the aisle and I take one last deep breath before rounding the corner and walking down the aisle.

"Until death do us part."
