Samantha's POV

Two months later

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday happy birthday, happy birthday dear Sam"

It was my twenty first birthday, I had always imagined that I'll celebrate this day with my mom, Viv, and my husband well now ex husband.

But God had other plans for me, so with Vivian, my babies, Mrs Chad and her baking crew and surprisingly with Doctor Jayden, I cut my birthday cake. Giving a piece to Vivian first as I had always done since my mother passed away, she also fed me a piece and so I proceeded to give a piece to Mrs Chad, the old lady had a sweet tooth, and to the handsome doctor, Jayden.

Birthdays were always happy moments for me but this was extra special because my babies were celebrating it with me for the very first time, I couldn't have been any happier.

We later sat down at the dinning table, I had wanted a birthday dinner rather than lunch or breakfast. Vivian helped me to settle my babies in their nursery before we sat for dinner.

"I wanna make a toast" Vivian said standing from her seat. "I wanna toast to the good health of my best friend, my sister, my family, my everything. I'm so happy to see you hale and hearty even after all life has thrown in your direction. Happy birthday Sam, I hope this newly added year brings you the best of everything life has to offer" she finished and we all toasted to good health before drinking and I had non alcoholic drink since I was breastfeeding.

Dinner went by with chattering since no one had common table manners and I noticed the happiness in Vivian's personality today, not that she was otherwise unhappy but her eyes held an extra sparkle today and I knew it was only because of Jayden.

They were still in the early stage of their relationship or friendship, but I could tell she did like him a lot. I decided not to ask too many questions but to just observe and make a few remarks that made her blush so bad I thought she was a strawberry.

But at the back of my mind I still had a little doubt that Jayden was the one for Vivian and I knew it was as a result of my past. I didn't want to ruin a beautiful blossoming relationship because of my unfortunate past relationship.

"Well you kids carry on the old lady gotta rest, I'll see you all later" Mrs Chad said rising up.

"I'll see you off " one of the other bakers said also rising up.

"Alright Zoe goodnight and thanks for the cake it was delicious like always" I told her with a smile

"Goodnight kiddo take care of the babies alright, I'll see you in the morning" She told me

The two other bakers decided to help in clearing the table while I decided to check up on Chris and Vicky.

Entering the nursery, a smile crept up my face on seeing them both asleep. I still could not believe that I had two children. In these last two months, I had gotten to know them better, and I could say that Vicky was going to be the troublesome one. It was very obvious from her constant crying and she loved to bit my nipple whenever I breastfed her.

Chris was the gentle with one, he smiled a lot and he did not cry as much as his twin. But I also observed that whenever Vicky cried for no particular reason at all, putting Chris beside her calmed her in a way breast milk couldn't. It was like she wanted her brother with her always.

"Will you stop grinning like an idiot" Vivian's voice brought me out of my thoughts and I noticed my little smile had turned into a stupid grin.

"How long have you been standing there " I asked sitting on the rocking chair in between both cribs.
