Remember all those stories you used to read about as a kid, for fun, or in school, for an assignment. Well what if I told you that they were all true. Every last one of them, yes even bigfoot and el chupacabra. But there's one that I don't think you've heard. The one about The Phantom. Not the ghost type phantom. But a person who defends the world. They're called Phantom's because of how easily they blend into whatever society that they're in at the moment.
Phantom's don't usually like being noticed hence why they are never in any mythologies or stories. The only thing that really sets them apart is the odd tattoo or in rare cases a burn on the inside of their left wrist. The tattoo/burn is two crossing swords with a dagger going straight behind them. There are many reasons for this the most straightforward being that they specialize in blades always carrying one or more even when that can't be seen. The legacy of Phantom's is passed down from parent to child. Gender doesn't matter, because to them saving the world is everything. Even if it means neglecting their basic needs, like eating and sleeping. Most Phantom's go through rigorous training in order to be in the proper condition to do so. The previous Phantom being to one to initiate the training. Those that don't learn from the previous Phantom learn the hard way or from one of the previous Phantom's Guards.
The Phantom's Guard's job is pretty straightforward. They protect the Phantom from both themselves and others. They also have a tattoo or again in rare cases a burn in the shape of a shield with a gun or bow n arrow in the center. The reason being they specialize in projectiles such as those afore mentioned and they protect The Phantom. They have to protect The Phantom from themselves because they tend to not eat or sleep for days, even weeks on end. Phantom's Guards usually come in pairs of two or more, seeing has Phantoms can be quite the handful. Guards are usually older siblings of the Phantom so that there's someone to protect them when their most reckless(ages 12-16). But if there are no siblings close friends will do.
Yet Phantom's and their Guards are just the tip of the iceberg to a world that you have never seen before. This is a world of wonder, beauty, danger, and fear.
