(Le dramaticness) backstoryyyyyy time: LJ used to be in a very powerful dark guild called the midnight dragons and they had a very drunkenly abusive guild master until he was caught about a year ago. LJ had been in the guild since she was 4 and while she was in her mom and dad left her there not caring if she'd be safe or not. She became friends with the guilds onyx dragon slayer named shadow with his exceed named melon( who was peach colored and acts like a 5 yr old) he became like a brother to her and ever since then they have stayed close to each other and after their guild was shut down they decided to join fairytail which master gave them a chance to get away from their past and have a new future!
