Elena's POV

I was waiting next to the hotel when I heard a deep sexy voice call my name,

"Hey there beautiful, did you wait for too long?" Xavier said popping up from behind me.

"You're lucky you came on time or I would have gone on a date by myself, and what did I say about the cheesiness" I said walking along with him.

"Ya I know, keep it down a notch but I can't help myself, you're just so... BEAUTIFUL!" he said screaming the "Beautiful" part.

"OK keep you're voice down loudspeaker, now let's go get my tummy some food or you're going to see a side of me which is not beautiful" I said.

"Impossible" he said smirking.

"My dear boy, nothing is impossible" I said in a dramatic tone.

He took me to this burger joint nearby and trust me I was so happy, I didn't want him to take me to a high-end restaurant and spend so much money on food that will never fill me up, and I didn't hold myself back from eating to my hearts desire.

"Beautiful and loves to eat, you're my dream girl, where have you been hiding?" he said as he intensely looked at me.

"Well I was all the way in Oman and in a serious relationship with my bed so ya" I said as I took a long sip of my drink.

We laughed and eat like champions and honestly I never felt this good, he was just... Prefect. It's too soon for me to say this but it's like he gets me, he makes me feel free and comfortable and that is all I could ask for in a guy. When we talked time felt endless, but as I looked at the time on my phone I realized it's past 11 night and I was supposed to be back by ten thirty max. I knew Alexis was never going to forgive me for this so I rushed back to the hotel.

"I have to go, now! Or else I am going to be busted for sure" I said as I grabbed his hand and ran out to catch a cab.

"Is it just me or is this the "when the clock strikes midnight" moment from Cinderella moment, one point we are having a great time next you say you have to be back before 11, coincidence much?" he said in a sarcastic manner.

"See this is why I am planning on going out on a second date with you if you get me back to my hotel in time."

"The don't worry mam! Super awesome guy here to save the day!" he said as he grabbed me next to an area lined with bikes.

"Wait is this were you're planning on kidnapping me, cause if you are then you better take me in a nice car because I am going to fall of a bike" I said looking at the beautiful bikes.

"Do you trust me?" he said handing his hands towards me.

"Absolutely not" I said as I grabbed his hands and sat on the bike.

"On on tight sweet thing cause we are going for a ride" he screamed as he started up the bike.

"If you say sweet thing again then I'd rather fall off and die" I chuckled as I held on to him and we rode our way to the hotel.

Before we reached I texted Alexis that I am coming back and to keep the coast clear, she saw the message but did not reply so I guessed she is doing her job. Xavier insisted he will stay until I get back to my room safe because apparently he needs me to be safe and alive for our second date. We went up the back stairs of the hotel and us staying on the fifth floor did not help my legs. We tip-toed our way to my room when I noticed the door was opened. I furrowed my brows in confusion but thought Alexis kept it open for me.

"Well I guess this is goodbye" I said turning to Xavier.

"Not if I stalk you around tomorrow"

"Why am I not surprised" I said chuckling.

We both leaned in for a kiss when it was interrupted by a loud thud that came from our room. Immediately Xavier shielded me while we tip-toed to our room and what I saw next scared the living lights out of me. There was the hoodie guy carrying Alexis on his shoulder with a hat on covering his face. At once Xavier and I emerged towards him without thinking once because that was my best friend and bank over there! As he saw us approaching him he pulled out a gun from his pocket and pointed at Xavier shouting

"STAY BACK! JUST GIVE HER TO ME AND I WILL LET YOU LIVE!" he screamed.

"OH HELL NO BITCH! I AIN'T GOING TO LET YOU TAKE THAT CRAZY SHIT AWAY FROM ME!" I said as I emerged towards him with nothing but with the little bit of strength in my short hands.

I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine and he threw Alexis on the ground with a loud thud groaning in pain. Xavier ran up to me and carried Alexis and said

"Dam that was the hottest thing I have ever seen, now I am never letting you go"

"Oh shut up, now you're just making me blush. I know I am amazing" I said as I pushed a strand of my hair back dramatically.

As we were going to leave the hoodie guy pulled Xavier's leg causing him to fall and drop Alexis, Again! Poor thing the amount of times she was dropped, I won't be surprised if she woke up losing half her memory. In that short amount of time he grabbed Alexis and jumped out of the window while I was helping Xavier.

"GET UP FAST! He is getting away with her!" I screamed to Xavier who was struggling to get up.

We both went outside to see the hoodie guy put Alexis in a black van and took off in a flash. We got on Xavier's bike and rode behind the van but lost it in a freaking traffic! And the best friend of the year award goes to Elena D'Cruz!

"Shit shit shit shit! We lost her! No No No No! We freaking lost her!" I kept on repeating as I walked back and forth.

"It's ok we will get her back, did you catch the number plate of the van?" Xavier asked me.

"YES! YES! YES! We can track the van down and get Alexis back! Thank god!" I shouted in happiness.

"OK lets get back to you're hotel before the teachers realize you're not there and send you back home, see tomorrow we will meet up next to the cafe near you're hotel and then we will go search for her"

"Wait, no we can't waste time! What if he does something to her?" I asked as tears filled up my eyes.

"Don't worry, I will track the van down and tomorrow we will get her back, I promise" he said with pure sincerity in his eyes.

"She is my best friend, the only person who understands me and I can't handle life if she leaves me" I said with my head in my hands slowly releasing few tear drops.

Xavier pulled me in a warm, safe and comforting hug ensuring me that everything will be fine. I am coming for you Alexis and bring you back safe and sound, maybe.
