The heritage Victoria A3 minor peewee hawks were up 3-1 in the second period against lord Selkirk. Wilson #12 scored and Vendramelli #9 scored and amarilla #3 scored. These three were the best players on the team. Wilson blocked a shot and grabbed the puck and got on a breakaway. Wilson got tripped. Wilson got the penalty shot. He skated up stick handling the puck. He put the puck his back hand and put the puck on his forehand but the puck slipped away. He swung madly at the puck. He had no chance of scoring. During the intermission Wilson went to the bathroom during coaches speech. He was still listening. When he came out amarilla asked where Wilson was. Vendramelli looked up he was red in the face. He said did you miss that too. The locker room burst out with laughter. The intermission was almost over Wilson put his helmet on his gloves and grabbed his stick and waited for the zomboni to get off. He skated around for a bit waiting for the rest of the team. Vendramelli took the face off Wilson on left wing and amarilla on right wing. Lord Selkirk won the face off but Wilson was good on the forecheck. He forced the turn over at that moment he heard the whistle go. Vendramelli got a penalty for slashing.
Vendramelli was the grinder of the bunch. He had 62 penalty minutes in the regular season. He had 25 penalty minutes in the playoffs. But vendramelli wasn't a bad kid he just took a lot of penalties. In the last 3 minutes of the game lord Selkirk scored twice and tied it up. Wilson was on the bench for the face off because he gut hurt because some loser two handed him in the ankle, but when Wilson got on the ice he knew what he had to do. Wilson had to score but to score he needed to force a turnover or wait at the red line fore a pass. Wilson decided on the pass he finally got the pass with 3.4 seconds on the clock. He skated as fast as he could he deked left then right then he took a wicked snap shot. Wilson hit he put puck with all his might it was like it happened in slow motion the puck went flying over the goalies shoulder and boom the water bottle went flying. Wilson just scored the game winning goal. He was MVP of the game. He got an award for friendliest player in the league. Wilson only had 16 penalty minutes. The team was celebrating for a while the team finally decided to get undressed and go out and party. Wilson bought the pizza vendramelli bought the drinks and everyone else bought silly string air horns. But Wilson had fireworks back at his place so the team went and shot off fireworks for a bit and partied and then the last couple of people left and Wilson went to bed because he was so tired from hockey and partying.
