It was the next season for Wilson, vendramelli and amarilla. They went to the last tryout. When the tryouts were over the went out and had some fun. At vendramelli's house they played mini sticks call of duty black ops 2 and jumped on the trampoline. The next day all three of the boys were getting emails from coaches. The boys were amazed to see what had happened. They met at the near by elementary school. The boys were all on the same team again. But they were not playing for the hawks. They were playing for the bourkevale bruins. Their team was not bad when they saw the list but it was even better when they went to there practice. The team was amazing. Over the summer every player got so much better. They went to defence camps power skating and much more. When the team had to choose numbers the three boys got all their numbers back. Wilson got 12 vendramelli got 9 and amarilla got 3 again. When the boys were done practice they all went home got a good nights sleep and were ready to play again. For some reason amarilla was bummed that his dad wasn't his coach. Wilson thought amarilla's dad was REALLY MEAN LIKE 😡, but anyways the tree kids went to the arcade down the street. The kids played games ate food and had FUN. When they left a bunch of kids walked up to them and asked for money their phones. Wilson had $150 on him so he gave them $20 instead of$150 they took the money and left but vendramelli saw that they didn't take the phones for some reason. They don't know why but what they do know is that they still have their phones. They all went home slept woke up and went to practice. They had a game in 1 day and they had to prepare. The next day during the game Wilson was skating and he scored to tie up the game but when he was skating to the bench he got slashed and he fell and hit his helmet on the ice. He was out for the next 5 games with a concussion. The team was upset because Wilson was one of the best players on the team. During those days he was with Sam playing with Sams dogs and sleeping over at his house.
During the day the trainer called and wanted Wilson to go to the game that day. Wilson went to the game and he was cleared to play that game. Wilson was so pumped to play he scored 5 goals. He had six goals now vendramelli had 5 and amarilla had 4. The coach was pleased with Wilson's play he moved him up to first line with vendramelli. When vendramelli found out Wilson was on the first line. He was worried that Wilson would take his spot. Vendramelli was right. Wilson took his spot and vendramelli went on the second line. But little did he know Wilson got ahead of him in the statistics. Vendramelli knew there was some kind of mistake because he was always a better player than Wilson, so vendramelli went to the coach. The coach said that Wilson had more points than him. Vendramelli was amazed when he heard that. The next day vendramelli told Wilson the news. Wilson was amazed too that he was ahead of vendramelli. Wilson even said if vendramelli wanted to have more points than Wilson than Wilson would start playing badly.
The next game Wilson played so bad that the coach put him on the fourth line, and that line is the worst!!! During the next game Wilson stayed on until vendramelli came on and stood in front of the goalie so vendramelli could score. Wilson did this 5 times and vendramelli scored 6 goals. Vendramelli was in front of Wilson with points now, so now Wilson could start playing good again so he could get back on the first line. When Wilson got back to the first line he realized that vendramelli was a centre and Wilson was a right wing. Wilson and vendramelli we're tied up with points. The final game was not on home ice. They were at the mts iceplex. During the game they goalie got hit in the mask with a puck and his helmet fell off but the ref didn't see and the goalie got hit in the forehead with the puck and there was blood every where. The backup goalie wasn't bad he was actually almost as good as the starting goalie. The 3rd period went by so fast there was only 2:43 left on the clock when Wilson looked up. Wilson needed to score to win the game and he scored but the other team won 3-2. The team was going into the playoffs. The next book will tell you what happens in the playoffs.
