"You're still here?" Haden muttered as he passed me, rolling his eyes.

"What is your problem?" I asked, turning to him. He stopped, looking over his shoulder at me. My heart stopped, but I wasn't even sure why.

"You're a girl-" he started.

"And she's paying off a debt." Kato said smoothly. "Maybe you should stop giving Hadlie such a hard time, Haden." He turned to me and handed me a bag with clothes. "go get dressed, you have visitors today."

I was in the back for all but ten minutes as I put on a pair of slick black dress pants, a puffy white button up dress shirt, and a red vest on. The vest had golden details stitched intricately through it. I looked in the mirror, pulling out the little white tissue part that was supposed to hang over my vest. I looked like a young man, I laughed.

When I opened the door, the whole room had been transformed into an old time Las Vegas. "Whao..." I muttered, looking around at all the black Jack tables, roulette tables, and even the coin machines.

"Brilliant isn't is?" Tatum asked, wrapping an arm around my waist and ushering me to a table. "You look fantastic, Hadlie." He motioned for me to sit behind a black Jack table. When I sat, he sat in front of me, "and don't take anything Haden takes to heart. He just doesn't get along well with new people. He thinks it's stupid for us to have a girl in the host club, but obviously not, because you already have guests." He have me a warm smile as a twin, I take it Kris, sat down next to him.

"Boss, Kato wants you." He eyed him for a minute then watched him leave, he turned to me. "Well, you clean up nice." He have me a sly smile and tapped the table. "Let's at a round."

I grabbed the crass and shoved them in the automatic shuffler. "What brings you here, Kris? I mean to my table." I grabbed the cards and dealt us both two. "Nine. Hit or stay?"

"You see, I have no issue with you being here. I think it will be fun to see how this plays out." His brow scrunched as he tapped on the table for another card. A Queen.

"Nineteen?" I asked, eyeing my cards. I had a king.

"But Haden isn't as good with change. I want to apologize for him, but I feel like I shouldn't." He waved his hand over his card to indicate he was staying. He looked up and met my eyes, "I'm asking this as a favor, be nice to him. Even if he is horrible to you. It may take him a while to get used to someone new, especially a girl."

I flipped over my card, a nine laying there. "Nineteen. Draw." I grabbed his cards, shuffling them by hand. "I can try. I don't know how much I can handle before I burst."

He grinned, "just give him a chance. You might really like him." He pushed away from the table, setting his hands down, "hope you're ready for the ball tonight."

"Ball?" I asked, my mouth hanging open. "What ball?"

"The annual back to school ball, of course." Kato said smoothly, "we got you a dress and everything."

"I look forward to seeing you there." Kris said with a wink before he walked off to meet his brother who greeted him with a head shake.

"Get ready to be charming." Kato warned me, walking off with a simple wave of his hand.

I kicked my feet up, which were in leather cow boy boots, up onto the table and shuffled the cards by hand.

"Hadlie?" A young girl stood in front of me with a few of her friends behind her.

I smiled, "Hello ladies. May I offer you a to play a game?" I fanned the cards in my hands.

They sat down, admitting that they had no desire to play cards, so I just continued to shuffle them while trying to get them to tell me about themselves.
