"Hey Douglas," Adam said as the strange Tiedan walked in. "How was your shopping?"
"Pricy, as always. But I'd do anything for my niece. Anyways, I got this."
Douglas had two bags, and a smaller bag. In the smaller bag, he produced an ice cream cone surrounded in a weird jelly, probably for preserving and keeping the quality.
"Wait, that's for me," Douglas said and chuckled.
"Wait... Whaaa...." Adam said, confused. "What is that jelly stuff?"
"It's a kind of new mold the inventors are trying out... So far it's working, but occasionally it breaks a piece off and gets in your food and you accidentally eat it... Don't always use it though."
"What is it made of?"
"It's just really flexible and rubbery plastic."
"Oh. Gotcha.""And these two other bags," he pointed to them on the table. "I got a pillow, and two other things." He brought out the pillow, it was one of those body pillows that you hug and wrap your legs and arms around. He put it on Allison's bed, and put her left limbs on it, including her wing.
"Now, for the other bag." Douglas said.
He reached in it, and pulled out two metal poles. One was a pole that had a leather band on the top and 4 legs with soft balls on the bottom. The other was a pole that had bands on both sides, and could be adjusted with the length of the pole and the size of the leather bands."What are those for?" Adam asked.
"They're for Allison, when she wakes up," Douglas explained. "These are basically braces but it doesn't really- how do I put this- affect your walking, to say it simply. It will the first few days, but after we do the surgery for her, and when she's ready to move, we'll use these to help her."
"Oh that makes sense," Adam said. "The question now is when she'll wake up."
"If she'll wake up," Douglas said hopefully. "I'll be able to say hi and help her."
"I bet the first thing she'll do when she wakes up is look for Herobrine since he's not around," Adam said.
"Well we could put guards outside the door if she does that."
"She's very sneaky. And strong too."
"We could double the guards then."
"I'd doubt the guards could stop her from at least trying."Allison twitched a talon in her sleep. Adam looked over, and said, "that's the first movement I've had since like three days ago. Maybe she's trying to wake herself up."
"Maybe. But let her rest, I know you're eager to do stuff but not every day has to be full of activities. There are some days where you just have to chill and relax, even if that's mostly what you've been doing."
"Well now you're gonna be quoted one day because of that."
"That's nice," Douglas said. He walked up to the unconscious Allison and hovered the metal braces over her limbs to see if they would fit. "Yay they'll fit."
"Nice."
"Well, we should do the surgery tomorrow, how does that sound?" Douglas asked.
"That's fine with me. But would you need to use anesthesia? That is the question."
"To use or not to use? Indeed that is the question. To answer that, probably. Just to be safe."
