Three Tales Entwined

"Listen..." Naruto said to break the silence. "I'm all for pranks but now---Just doesn't seem like the best course of action."

"Think of it like this." Hinata said as she took her hands out of her pockets. "If they don't like you, then let's give them you. What do you do? You prank and your good at it!" She said as she remembered previous pranks that got a chuckle out of even Sasuke. "So let's give them, you!"

Sasuke sighed and spoke up, he pushed himself off the tree he was leaning on and spoke up. "I agree with Hinata, I'd rather not waste my first kill on them. Besides if we kill them it does lead to problems down the road. Problems that really don't benefit me at the moment." Said Sasuke, selfish as always. "And I rather enjoy a good prank..." He said catching everybody off guard.

"W-What..." Said Naruto, being the one to stutter for once. Hinata sweat dropping.

Sasuke sighed, "Their fun. Am I not aloud to have fun? I like planning things, and I like a plan coming to fruition." He said tapping his foot.

"W-Well then, what do you say Naruto." Hinata said still reeling from Sasuke's sudden confession. Hinata pulled her hands out of her baggy pockets and entwined them. Seemingly begging.

Sasuke looked at Naruto and awaited his answer patiently.

"We can do it I guess. Honestly I just wanna go home." He said in an exhausted tone. "All I've learned how to do is walk up trees.." He said rubbing his arm, "How long have we been walking?"

"It's been months." Sasuke said as he tapped the bark with his head. "These long agonizing four months, I want to go back to the village." Sasuke said annoyed.

"Me too." Hinata said as she thought of her pregnant mother. "So let's just 'accidently' c-compromise this mission and then we can. You know. Go home." She waved her hands around. "They already hate us, and we aren't at the point where it'd take longer to go home then it'd take to get there. So it's p-perfect."

"Okay, okay I'm convinced. What's the plan?" Naruto said standing up straight for the first time in a while.

"Well---it's a prank so--I was hoping you'd come up with the plan..." Hinata said a bead of sweat rolled off her brow awkwardly.

Sasuke sighed, "I can help plan it all out. I figure it's my turn anyways."

Hinata nodded and Naruto shrugged. "Let's see how good you are at pulling pranks Sasuke." Naruto said.

Kakashi's sharingan span as he slept. His nightmare bringing it to life.

Kakashi with his tanto in hand slid underneath the kunai of one mist ninja. He was up as quick as lightning and in his stance, he ducked using his height against his opponents. He slid and weaved, taking little slashes at his opponents working them all down. Till only three remained, one of them slashed at him. Kakashi jumped above the slash and spun around to get his weight into his sword and slashed his opponents throat. He landed on the floor elegantly, his chidori alerted him to the threat behind him which he accurately threw his blade at. Through the trachea of his next opponent, the last lay in front of him. The fight leaving his eyes was visible as his legs shook, but mercy hadn't been reinforced in his anbu training.

Kakashi activated the chidori and ran towards his opponent at lightning fast speeds. Speeds so quick even he couldn't register what was going on. His eyes closed as he ran forward, he felt his arm go through skin. He would've gagged had this not been the hundredth time he'd use this attack.

But he did gag, not because of the brutality of his attack. But because of who he attacked, his eyes opened and rin stood there looking at him with her piercing brown eyes.
