Akari showed Mai the kitchen first. "This..is the kitchen." She said nonchalantly as she moved along slowly to the next room. "This is where you'll be sleeping, with me" she dully announced, letting Mai inside. Mai began to look around. There where four red blankets ((All different shades)) stacked up ontop of each other with two small pillows placed neatly onto them. Mai felt stupid for expecting a bed but you couldn't blame her, with a fox woman with such a house as this you at least would've expected one. Akari then showed her to the restroom and went to walk back to the lunching room. Upon walking there, a small door caught Mai's eye. "Akari?" She asked, the red haired woman turned to her. "Yes?" Mai pointed to the door nervously, "What's this room?" Akari turned her gaze forward once again. "That's nothing important, now move along, it's almost dinner time."
Mai took in those words as they made her feel uneasy in her stomach. What could possibly be in that room? Wasn't Akari supposed to show her everything?" What was she trying to hide?
Soon enough, Mai was sat down at the small, red table as Akari set down a plate of beef in front of her. It was cooked, but not much. Mai gulped and slowly ate it, trying not to touch it as much with her tongue. Akari paid no mind to the disgusted faces Mai was making while eating the food, she was used to those, wolfing her food down entirely, licking the extra food off the plate in the process. Mai, however, was having trouble finishing her food as she finished her last bite almost an hour later. Akari put the plates away and ushered Mai to their room to sleep.
They faced different ways from each other, leaving Mai alone to her thoughts about the strange room, falling into an uneasy sleep.
