The people who are caught are lined up.
Hermione, Ron, the boy (Harry), and JK.
''Who is this?'', asks Lucius, pointing his wand at JK.
''Sorry, sir. I know his presence is not needed here. I have some other biziness with him.'', says Fenrir.
''Take him away!'', growls Lucius.
''Yes sir. Right away, sir.''
Just when JK's collar is again going to be snatched by the werewolf-turned-human, Harry takes his want and does a Disillusionment Charm on JK.
JK realises what happened only when Fenrir lets go off his collar and looks straight at him but then looks away. He is invisible.
JK runs to the open door and escapes into the night.
None of them never saw him again.

JK runs and runs, not knowing where to go, wondering how his supernatural powers had failed him in a time when he absolutely needed it (I'm thinking the same too).
Btw, JK never forgot Harry's help. It saved his life. And he was forever grateful.
