I would just like to say before you read ahead that in life an opportunity or an argument will always arise every so often in your life but there will always be multiple ways to deal with it so every time something comes up you should consider what your options are and the consequences of each action.                                                        ______________________________________________

*SURPRISE!*

I screamed from the realisation that all my friends and family were here to celebrate my 26th birthday not from me becoming startled.

After my accelerated heart slowed down and all adrenaline worn off I laughed I hid the single tear that was seeping out of my right eye.

As soon as I sat down on my recently bought sofa a major wave of comfort washed over me after a long day of work that single wave was enough to balance out the horrid sound of squeaky leather. I look at my good friend Hayden dead in the eye for a good few seconds and I said "Go to the fridge and get us a nice cold beer" he only responded with a nod.

As soon as he turned the corner my ears was filled with drum and bass music enough that the police would get called I couldn't care less right now I had too much going on in my life to even think about caring, me and my girlfriend are in an argument, I could either be getting a promotion or being made redundant at my work and most importantly I can't keep up fully with my rent payments so yeah there's a little stress with me right now.

*Buzz*

I pulled my phone out of my pocket about 30 seconds after a notification popped up as I dreaded about what it could be. It read

*Text from Alex*                                                                                    "Charlie, we have had a good two years together but I can't have all these arguments I can't see you no more"

Hayden came back and he handed me the beer and as soon as the beer was in my grasp a felt a slight sting like ice crystals dug into my skin and stabbed at all the nerves in my hand but out of anger and sadness I threw the bottle as hard as I could at the opposite wall .

I stood up a tear ran down my face I walked over to the mirror that was hanging from the wall very close too where I threw the bottle stared at the mirror and I new I had two options either walk away or damage the mirror. About twenty seconds of complete silence and my fixation on that mirror I leant in for the hardest punch I ever could force upon myself. I hit dead centre on that mirror but I completely regretted my choice when I saw my blood on the mirror and my cut up hand.

But then everything and everyone was becoming shrouded in liquid darkness then was absorbed into the ground.

I sat upright on my bed and I looked at my clock and realised it was a day before my birthday.
