Eliza's POV
It has been a week since the carnival and when we found out someone was being an imposter to Angie. I'm still shocked about it. Right now Angie is with Laf studying for an exam for their physics class, Peggy and John are out on a date and Alex and Herc are bowling or something like that. So I am lonely. I have all my homework done and everything I needed to do this week is finished! Including pounding on my closet wall and screaming "NARNIA I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!!!" So I decided to drive around the city I mean we live in NYC!!! I think I will get out of the campus a bit. I grabbed my purse and walked to my car. I started to drive a bit, what should I do? I passed by some antique shops, cafes, boutiques and other random shops. Something did catch my eye though.

It was a small bakery, it had pastel pink walls and a large glass window with places to eat both on the inside and outside and it had a sign that said Biscuits pittoresques . I googled what it meant it means Quaint Bakes. I decided to park there. I walked inside it smelled like fresh baked bread and cinnamon. It smelled nice. There was a counter displaying many treats that looked lovely, and there was a teenage girl standing behind the counter. "Hello!" She said with a friendly smile. She had ginger hair in a ponytail and was wearing a pastel blue V-neck with a jean skort and a polka dotted apron. "This bakery is very nice" I said. "Oh thank you my grandmother owns it." She said. "Carmen!, can you help me set these up?" An older woman, I'm guessing her grandmother said coming in with a tray of freshly baked brownies. "You can help her I want to look around a bit." I said, Carmen nodded and helped her grandmother. I looked around what I was most interested in was some antique photos of their bakery there was three. The first one was black and white it showed a family of three that consists of a mother, father and son. The second had a picture of a father and a teenage girl outside the bakery and the third was Carmen and her grandmother outside her bakery. The last one was in color. It must have been a family chain. "Is this place a family chain?" I asked when I saw that Carmen and her grandma were done setting up the brownies. "Yes" Carmen said. "It is going to shut down this summer." Her grandmother added. "I haven't even eaten anything here and can tell I love this place. "Aw thank you." Carmen said. "Oh I think I will order three brownies for me and my sisters they're out so I have a day to myself." I said. "That would be 7.12." Carmen said. I have her the money. And took a seat inside.

It was amazing, it had rich chocolate and was airy and why is this place shutting down?! I need to save this bakery! Summer is in three months! I need to think. I put the other two brownies in a bag they gave and said "I'll be right back!" I said grabbing my purse walking quickly out the door and hear a little bell how cute! I saw a stationery store two stores down. I bought two pens and a notebook and rushed back to the bakery and wrote
