Chapter 1 - The call with Mia

Julian's P.O.V.

July 23 through July 30th. These were the dates for the BIG AJ youtuber camping trip, that everyone's so excited about. Including me! In fact, Snowyclaw was the one who invited us! Because obviously AJHQ wouldn't bother to invite me to places... 

:Beep! Beep!:

I searched my jacket pocket for my phone, and looked to see who it was.

A voice sprang out from the phone cheerfully, "Hi Julian!".

I grinned. "Hey Mia. How's life?"

Mia Mia Mia. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. She's kind, funny, weird, but utterly fabulous. And I just love her. Someday I hope to have the courage to ask her out. Though of course there's James...

"My god Julian, we literally skyped yesterday, you goldfish," Mia said, bringing me back to reality.

"Goldfish, huh? That's new."

"You'd be a cute goldfish. I'd be your goldfish girlfriend if you'd like," said Mia, giving me a wink.

I blushed. "What type of flirt is that? I don't even think I would be a goldfish. Swordfishies are much cooler." I managed to say. Mia giggled. She's so cute when she smiles..

A smol bit later...

Mia was eyeing me down all seriously. I was a bit nervous.

"Julian," she begins.

I stare at her nervously. "Erm, you look really pretty-"

"Julian, why don't you like Aparri. James. Whatever."

James... Why did she have to bring him up...

"Why should I like him? He copies both of our video ideas, he has a bunch of horrifying fans, yet he still is the most subscribed Animal Jam youtuber!"

"THAT'S YOUTUBE. AND ANIMAL JAM. When do you ever talk to him? I'm talking about HIM not his online personality!" Mia shouts.

I guess, what she was saying was kind of true... But then again... she doesn't know about my jealousy... my jealousy whenever James is with Mia. Hearing them laugh together, having fun together, and seeing all these comments about #Wisparri.

"Well see, he's just... cringey.. His ideas aren't really-." I get cut off again.

"Julian please. Try to get along with James at the camping trip. It's TOMORROW." Mia sighs. "Oh god, the road trip with you two is going to be awful."

"Come on! Why don't you tell James that! He'll probably cause the problems!" I blurted out, immaturely.

"Seriously Julian. Ugh, fine, I'll see you at Snowy's house tomorrow," Mia said. And at that, she ended the call.

I sighed. Nice work there Julian, way to impress a girl. It's just, something about James really ticks me off. But Mia's right. I need to give Aparri more of a chance. Even if I don't like it...
