Intro

In the royal mansion

Aaric: (Sitting in a luxurious chair behind an equally stunning desk) (Frowning and bored)

                  (His gorgeous cat,Popcorn, hops onto his desk)

Aaric: (Cheers up) Hey Popcorn. (Gently pets popcorn on the head)

Popcorn: (Purrs)

                   (The door to the room opens)

Popcorn: (Hops off of the desk)

                   (A stout old noble enters the room with his 3 servants)

Aaric: Can't you knock fatty?

Old noble: (Surprised and offended) Excuse my unexpected visit your Highness but I have an                                 important request, th-

Popcorn: (Struts up to the old noble and sits at his feet)

Old noble: My word.I must say, that is quite a gorgeous cat.(Reaches down to pet her)

Aaric: Don't.

Old noble: (Stops his hand inches away from Popcorn's head) I beg your pardon?

Aaric: Don't put your filthy hands on my cat.(Stares at him coldly)

Old noble: Oh! Well um....(Straightens himself) It's just that he's so pretty.

Aaric: (Says coldly:) He?

Old noble: Huh?

Aaric: He's a she.

Old noble: Oh.I'm sorry. Um, your subjects are suffering.They sent me to request your                                      assistance. You know..........food,money,clothes, medi-

Aaric: No.

Old noble: But.........I beg you to reconsider! It's your duty as the prince and future king!

Aaric: What have those ungrateful rats ever done to deserve my help?

Old noble: They-

Aaric: Leave.

Old noble: (Frozen to the spot)

Aari: (Takes a pistol out of his desk and points it at the noble) Leave.(Smirks)Now.

Old noble: (runs out the door with his servants behind him)

Popcorn: You're a terrible person.

Aaric: Not my problem.

Popcorn: Yes it is,and every time someone tries to pet me you scare them off! What's the deal?

Aaric: (Slumps in his chair)

Popcorn: And I bet that's the same reason why you refused to even LISTEN to that poor man's                         request isn't it.

Aaric: Well................(sighs) Yeah, but they don't know how much you mean to me.(Smiles)

Ok first chapter finished. I have a few things to address:                                                                                     #1 If you're wondering why Popcorn can talk it's because she's a yokai.(If you don't know what a yokai is do some reading up on japanese mythical creatures or just watch anime a lot, like I do) #2 Sorry this chapter is a bit short. I'll try to make them longer.                                                                     #3 Tell me what you think of it so far.                                                                                                                           #4 Please don't be confused by my writing style.
