After Mockingjay Part 1

CHAPTER 1:

"Katniss?" I hear Peeta calling my name from the hall. He walks in. "What happened?"

"You acted out, there was nothing I could do but run away." I have tears in my eyes.

"It's okay!" He wraps his arms around me and hen kisses me. He doesn't stop. Then he picks me up on the bed a places me over top of me, breaking the kiss. But I don't mind. "I love you! I would never mean to hurt you!"

"I love you too Peeta. We should probably go see how Haymitch is doing." We get up and Peeta grabs my hand. We walk across the yard to Haymitch's house. I knock on the door and nothing happens. I open up the door letting go of Peeta's hand. He follows me. "Haymitch wake up!" He doesn't budge.

"What should we do?" Peeta finds a cup filled with water and hands it to me.

"Stand back he could be swinging around with that knife in his hand." After I step back I throw the cup so just the water comes out.

"Ahhhhhhhhh. What did you do?" He stares at me and then at Peeta. "Oh, you two."

"We came to check on you. How's Effie?" Peeta asks.

"Effie calls for a meeting at your house. NOW!" We all rush over to my house hoping to get there in time. When we finally get in and settle, there is a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" I rush up to get it and Peeta follows me. I open up the door. Effie walks in with my prep team behind her. "Effie! Flavius! Octavia! Fulvia!" After everybody comes in we sit on the couch with me wrapped in Peeta's arms.

"President Paylor wants you guys to make a visit to all the districts! Isn't that great?" I am barely paying attention. "We leave in 30 minutes! Fulvia, you go with Peeta, he doesn't need as much work as Katniss does with her scars and other things. Hurry were on a schedule!"

"See you soon." Peeta kisses my lips and then we have to separate. When I go into my old room I remember everything that happened.

After I'm dressed we walk downstairs and I have to watch this thing about something. I wasn't paying attention. "Where's Peeta?" I finally ask.

"He is outside with Fulvia, you guys aren't allowed to see each other until we get on the train." Effie explains.

"Why?" I'm getting very impatient. I really want to see Peeta. I'm in a silky blue dress that goes up to my ankles. And I'm wearing 2 inch black heels.

"Paylor wants to see you guys apart, and then your reaction when you see each other. So nobody we be at the train station and that's when you'll meet. Ready?" I nod and we step outside to cameras. After a couple of questions I am allowed to go.

"Finally! Can I see Peeta at the train station?" I ask. Effie nods. We are silent until we get to the train station. I don't see Peeta. "Where is he? Where's Peeta?" I ask.

"Fulvia had to run a little late. They will be here very shortly." After about 20 minutes Effie tells me they're here. I start to run to the car they took.

Peeta jumps out and I run and hug him. "Nice to see you too!" Peeta says. He gives me a kiss. Until Ceaser interrupts.

"Should we come back later? It doesn't matter because we're outta time folks! We'll catch in with our star- crossed lovers soon!" The camera lights go out.

"I can't believe they made us wait to see each other. I was getting really impatient. Ask Effie!" I hug him.

"We'll I'm glad I wasn't the only one! Well don't you look pretty!" He kisses me.
