Chapter 14

Eliza's POV
Ideas on how to save the bakery!
"Whoa, are you okay you came in very quickly." Carmen's grandmother said walking to me. "This bakery needs to be saved!" I said. "Oh no, it's time has come." Her grandmother said. "Listen, I know when I see love and I see it here!" I said thinking about Alexander. "Well be my guest but if you don't succeed I am still happy that you tried." Carmen's grandmother said. "Ok, also I didn't get your name." I said. "Me too, my name is Harper you can call me Ms Dane if you want to. "Okay, I like Harper more though." I said and she smiled.

Harper Carmen and I were brainstorming ideas, laughing, and some other ridiculousness for literally the next 7 hours.

Alex: Hey babe, you've been out for a long time now, are you okay?
Eliza: Oh sh*t, I wasn't keeping track of time! Are you okay?
Alex: oh no it's okay, but once you're done can you meet me outside my dorm?
Eliza: Ok babe 😘😘😘

"Ladies I have had fun but it's 9:38! I have to go." I said. "Okay, here is my number if you want to talk more." Carmen said giving me a small sheet of paper. "Thank you, until next time." I said walking out holding my brownies and notebook. I went in my car and drove to Alex's apartment.

Outside Alex's dorm
"Hey baby!" I said walking to Alex hugging him. "I have a surprise for you!" He said. Since I'm at his dorm I'm a bit nervous. "So it is not taking place in my dorm." He said, I was relived. "But at the park." He said. "Ok" I said, so I held his hand walking to the car. I sat in the passenger seat and him in the drivers (duh). "So what did you do to today that took you to do until 9?" Alex said while he was driving. "I went to this bakery that is closing down and were coming up with ideas to save it, I completely lost track of time." I said both of us laughing.

Once we were at the park Alex got a pick-nick basket from his trunk and we sat next to the pond. "Wow, moonlight picnic!" I said smiling staring at the glistening pond. "Hey that's not the only thing, I have planned!" He said. He had a small box with him he opened it and it had a movie projector. He had the cartoon version of the jungle book to put in the projector for us to watch. There was no screen though. "Wow!, I said but where is the screen to protect the movie on?" I asked. "Because it's the jungle book I decided to film it in the park, so it will feel like we're actually there!" Alex said. "Or because you go with whatever's cheap?" I said. "A bit of both!" He said, "okay but don't come blaming me if you get in trouble for filming without permission." I said laughing. "Oh come on, there is absolutely nobody here!" He said. "Okay!" I said putting my head on his chest as the movie started. I fell asleep quickly.

Alex POV
She looked so peaceful I couldn't help but smile. I knew she was in deep sleep because she was snoring and her head fell in my lap. I noticed her notebook was sticking out of your purse. I couldn't help it!!! I looked at the first page. The only one that was filled with words.

Ideas to save the bakery!
• Fundraiser for this and some other closing down businesses
•Get a sponsor?       ?

There was a lot of other ideas written but I knew it was proof that my girlfriend was a good person. I figured we should head home. I picked her up bridal style and put her in my car. I cleaned up everything and drove her home.

At Eliza's dorm

I knocked on Eliza's dorm "Hello!" Angie said. "Whoa, did you take her out for shots?!" She said looking at Eliza and how she was soundly sleeping in m arms. "No!" I said laughing, Angelica let me in her room and put her in her bed. I kissed her and said "Goodnight" I stayed a bit and looked around her room, it was nice. The walls were a pastel blue, a twin sized bed with blue sheets and blankets. She had a white desk across the wall if her bed it had finished homework assignments, her laptop a pencil jar and a planner. She also had a pearl colored vanity and a white night stand. Once I was finished completely scanning and interrogating the room. Once I left I thought....

"As long as I'm alive that Eliza swear to god she'll never feel so helpless"
