The bed was shaking. Why was her bed shaking so much? Luna's eyes opened as she heard a familiar giggle, the room seemed to be quaking around her. Struggling to sit up, she groaned loudly.
"Boys, c'mon I'm awake you can stop." She looked around counting one. . .two. . .three. Wait? Mikey's missing?
"So, I texted Cal last night -" Luke grabbed her attention quickly, smiling.
"And I replied obviously -" Cal motioned his hand in a grandiose gesture.
"Right and well we know you wanted to go to the mall, and naturally I invited Ashton. I invited Mikey too, but he had some plans -"
"The point is Red, we are going to the mall and you're going to meet the only and only, Mali." Ashton jumped in effectively cutting Luke off.
Luna ruffled her own hair up before stretching."Okay, go downstairs and wait with a baggie of dry cereal. I'll be down in like a few seconds; I've just gotta slide some jeans on."
The three boys ran from the room whooping happily, as Luna moved around her room. She honestly just wanted to sleep some more. Looking in the mirror, she found herself dressed somewhat decently, but her eyes conveyed just how tired she actually was.
"I look like I'm sick. Okay concealer, time to work your magic."
What started off as concealer soon turned into a fully done face, which for as quickly as she worked didn't look half bad. Slipping her black high tops on she ran down the stairs at top speed.
"Sorry, guys took a bit longer than I expected." Looking to the couch she found the boys and a girl, laughing.
"Lu, good you're ready. Mali, I want you to meet Luna." Luke made slight jazz hands as Mali turned to face Luna, smirking.
"Good to meet you, Luna." Mali sent Luna a wave before standing and patting her pockets. Luna stared at the other girl in pure awe. Mali looked like a pure force of nature. She just seemed naturally, well cool. Luna sent her a small wave unable to form words quite yet.
"Are you guys ready to roll?"
The boys shot up, Luke handed Luna the small baggy of cereal. Luna snatched it up eagerly, making Ashton chortle. Following behind Calum, she munched happily ignoring the boy's laughter. Calum quickly ran to the front seat of the car.
"Looks, like you get middle seat Lu."
"Maybe I should make you take middle seat Lucifer." Luna scoffed at him rolling her eyes. She crawled into her spot regardless of her words. Once everyone was settled Mali turned on the radio and away they went.
"So, Luna I hear you've been helping the boys put out their videos?"
"Kind of, I have a photography blog of sorts and I posted about them."
"Maybe you can be like the band photographer when they blow up then." Mali shot a smile to the girl in the back through the rearview mirror.
"I wouldn't know about that. I'm just sort of okay at it." Luke scoffed loudly, rolling his eyes so hard Luna thought they'd get stuck.
"Don't listen to her, Mal. Her photos are amazing, if you remind me later I'll show you some."
Luna grumbled to herself as she munched on the rest of her cereal. Everyone was practically quiet for the rest of the ride, Luke occasionally groaning about being too tall for the backseat. Luna didn't realized she had nodded off until Ashton was gently trying to wake her. She lifted her head off his shoulder mumbling an apology.
"It's all good Red, but c'mon we're here."
They all piled out of the car, Luke awkwardly stretching out his limbs. Mali walked around looping her arm with Luna's.
