As Phillip was finishing his letter to his beloved mother, a female voice suddenly interrupted his writing as well as his train of thoughts.
"Pirippu-kuuun! I need some help over here."
The woman who just asked Phillip for help was Grace Kitou Itekuchi, Phillip's co-worker, friend and,secretly, his unrequited love. Its been over ten years since Phillip heard the words
"You have to wait ten years to court me". It is now the year 2023 and still, Phillip hasn't made his move. Grace then ordered Phillip to help her unpack a box of newly-shipped anime Blu-Ray
discs ranging from the newest releases like the tenth season of Date-A-Live to old classics like the HD remastered version of Space Runaway Ideon. As Grace and Phillip arrange the discs
according to the genre their respective series belonged to, Grace saw a disc for Mekaku City Actors, Phillip's most favorite anime series.
"Hey Pirippu-kun, look what I've got."
"Isn't that Mekaku City Actors?"
"You don't say?"
"Oh come on Grace-chan, I know how to read. By the way, where did you get that?"
"I got it from the box that contains ZZ Gundam, Gintama and Kill la Kill. I don't know why it's here to think that only one copy was there. Maybe it was misplaced or something.
Why don't you start unpacking those boxes over there while I find the proper box for this."
"What if we just keep that copy to ourselves and watch it after closing time?"
"No way! That would be stealing."
"I'm just joking silly!"
Phillip then stood up from the ground cluttered with Ideon and Evangelion discs and made his way to the front door where a lot of boxes are left untouched. As far as Phillip's eye can see,
a shape is coming towards the shop and its moving fast.
"I...isn't the shop supposed to be closed until 10?"
As the shape was coming closer to the store, its voice became louder and louder and was heard saying...
"LOVE LIVE! LOVE LIVE! LOVE LIVE! LOVE LIVE!...."
The shape was already close to the door and as Phillip opened the door (or tried to), the door went to the oppossite direction and hit Phillip's face hard. The shape entered the store
and shouted.
"ONE BOX OF LOVE LIVE CARDS PLEASE! AND MAKE IT AN UMIERI SET."
As Phillip heard the words "Love Live" and "UmiEri", a certain person, no, THAT person immediately came into his mind. No, it can't be SK, it can't be also Artic, and as certainly sure as
hell not onii-chan (that onii-chan was the one who got into trouble with the yakuza as Phillip's letter mentioned) so it must be her.
