Chasing Your Heart

You are running on the hallway of Big Hit Entertainment. Behind you is Taehyung who is persistently running after you. You didn't notice that you already reached the end of the hallway.

"Yah! Why were you running after me?" You asked him, still catching your breath.

Instead of answering, he paced towards you. Threatened, you started to move backwards until you felt the cold wall behind your back. He reached his arms on the side of your head, leaning on the wall. He was staring at your eyes intently, still breathing heavily because of running. You inhaled sharply when felt his hot breaths on your skin. His face is only few inches away from yours.

"Why were you running away?" he asked. His forehead was frowning in confusion.

"Because you're chasing me that's why! You idiot." You answered in gritted teeth.

"I did?" his eyes actually widen. He seemed very shocked to know that he was actually chasing you, even though it was so obvious. Did he just hit his head or something?

Being weird as he is, he started to smile like stupidly, showing his rectangular smile while scratching the back of his neck.

How is this man so cute?

"So, can you let me pass now?" you asked.

He didn't answer. Instead, he stared at you again with his deep gaze.  You stared back at him.  You remained like that for a few seconds until he spoke again. "Please stop staring at me." He said and it made you frown. Your eyes rolled upwards, a scoffed escaped your mouth.

"For real, Kim Taehyung. You stared at me first."

Now that you are reminded about his weirdness, you felt a little less uneasy. You stared back at him, accepting whatever game he was trying to play.

You saw him gulped. It is then that you noticed that he was actually staring down on your lips. Unconsciously, you licked your lips wet because it suddenly feels dry.

"Stop staring at my lips." He said while actually staring at your lips.

You noticed how nice his Adam's apple is when he slowly gulped. Then, his eyes slowly shifted its gaze straight to your eyes. Slowly, he touched your face. He then tucked some strands of your hair behind your ear.

"Does it makes your heart beat faster when I do this?" he asked, almost whispering. It is then when you realized that your heart was actually beating unusually faster. You felt the burning of your cheeks. With Taehyung's eyes still bore on you, you started to feel uneasy.

This made you realized that you are still trapped by him. You wanted to get away. You want to relaxed yourself and get actual air. The little air between the gap of your mouth from his is getting a little suffocating—suffocatingly good that it makes you uneasy.

You pushed him, wishing to escape away from him, but your hands froze right on his chest. You felt his heart beating like wild racing horses. It pounded harder than yours, as if it was about to come out of his chest. You looked up to him again, wishing that you might get an answer. And yes, his face answered your question. You noticed his face becoming red. He held your hand that is still resting on his chest.

"Stop making my heart beat like this." He said like he has been suffering for a long time. "Stop making me think about you all over."

Your mouth parted in awe. You were shocked.

Kim Taehyung, the weirdest guy you met, have been in love with you for a long time.
