Me and Joey run through our secret field just behind joeys house.
We stopped at our little rock where we would meet up at when we needed to talk to each other.
"Olivia why are you crying?!" Joey says frowning wiping the tear I had on my cheek with his thump.
"Joey I'm moving to New York tomorrow" I say looking in his sea green eyes.
"Are you coming back at least?!"he says smiling a little.
"Yea my mommy said I'll be back in 8 years!"I say standing up and so does Joey.
Me and Joey hug I have a little crush on him but I know he won't feel the same for me.
"Princess I can't wait that long!" He always calls me princess cause he thinks I look like one.
"Jojo I know but promise me you won't get another princess!" I say holding up my pinky finger.
"Promise!" He says locking our pinky fingers together.
It was finally time to say goodbye to Joey He walked me home and the rest was a blur.
~next day~
"Olivia you got everything?" My 10 year old sister runs up to me.
"Yah I just have to say goodbye to Joey first!" I say putting on my flip flops.
"Okay but hurry we are leaving in 5 minutes!" She says walking to the kitchen.
And with that I run across the street to joeys house.
I knock on the door to see a very sad joey. He had tear stains on his face and his eyes were blood shot red.
(Who pasted Joey the blunt? Ahah jk)
"Joey what happened?" I say embracing him into a hug.
"I'm gonna miss you Olivia." He says pulling away.
"I'm gonna miss you too Joey!"
Then Joey pulls out a white rose from behind his back.
"I got you this rose for you, I didn't want to give you a basic red rose so I wanted to give you this special white rose since white is your favourite colour!" He says handing me the delicate white rose.
"Joey I love it!" I say taking it and admiring the rose.
"I also have something else!" He says taking off his ring and handing it to me.
"Joey I can't take that it's yours!" I say but it was already to late he already put the ring on my ring finger.
"Keep it so you can remember me." He says smiling at me.
"Joey I lov-"then I got cut off by my mom yelling at me.
"OLIVIA ITS TIME TO GO!" My mom says yelling and getting in the van.
"Bye jojo!" I say waving at him.
"Bye princess see you in 8 years!" He says closing the door.
I hop in my car and fasten my seatbelt I look out the window and wave bye at Joey knowing that would be the last time I would see him.
I study the ring he gave me (at the top^) i notice at the back it said "to my only princess Olivia ♡" a tear rolled down my cheek knowing he would probably forget about me.
