Chapter 16: Second Year
This year was hectic.
Draco tried to persuade me to tell people about us but I continued to decline.
I seriously considered if after I was petrified for a fortnight but I decided to wait until we were older.
Harry defeated the basilisk and Hogwarts was pronounced officially re-opened after talk of closing due to the basilisk incident.
Harry and I saved Ron’s little sister Ginny from the Chamber of Secrets.
Draco gave me a good telling off afterwards though, saying I could have gotten myself killed. I know he’s only looking out for me though.
We’ve had a really good year though, and I think that maybe next year will be the tell all year.
But that’s for the future to decide.
Gilderoy Lockhart was the DADA professor this year.
He was a bore. He couldn’t teach us properly either.
I also made the Quidditch team this year!
Dan’s a beater, Harry’s a seeker and I’m a chaser.
Draco’s the chaser for the Slytherin team so it was quite amusing when Gryffindor played Slytherin and I watched Draco and Harry arguing.
It was an amusing year, to say the least.
But everyone’s excited for next year, especially me!
