Without a place to run, Ophelia was helpless as she backed away from the advancing wolf.
"Please...! Don't take me away...!" Ophelia was whimpering silently.
But, that did not happen. For her enemy stopped his tracks as he gently held the back of her palm, and planted a sincere kiss on it to her shock.
"W-what do you want?" stammered Ophelia, still have no clue on what was going on with a faint blush appeared on her cheeks.
"Awwww, my cute little piggy, you really have such cute looks and a gorgeous name. And I'm quite alone all the time." murmured Arthur.
"How...is....that...?" asked Ophelia.
"Well...I don't know why, so many forest animals would run away from me as they saw my face or hear me howl at the moon every night. All I wished was some company and some friends so that I won't always end up being a lone wolf...." pouted Arthur, staring at Ophelia like a puppy begging its owner for food, which made the crimson shade, became darker on her cheeks.
"Is...that....true....?" Ophelia was a bit suspicious.
"Indeed..." said Arthur, he was looking glum. " I really hate being alone and rejected."
"Oh...I'm...I'm sorry for you...Mr. Wolf. I...actually didn't know that..." replied Ophelia, her heart softened after listening to his words.
"Hehehehe....not only are you kind, but also sweet." chuckled the wolf. He was squeezing Ophelia like a child cuddling a teddy bear, making her impossible to squirm away. Wrapping one of his arm around her waist, Arthur proceed to caress Ophelia's smooth black hair and pig ears tenderly while smooching her cheeks.
"W-what do you...want...?" she stuttered in shock, puzzled at the same time.
"You know, I really wish I could take you away from your brothers so that I can have a lovely companion I longed for...." whispered Arthur, leaning closely to her while the girl with pig ears was dazed and confused by his romantic and tender acts instead of devouring and scaring her like any of the big bad wolves.
"Well, let me bring you back to my home tonight we shall have a good time...Isn't it a good idea?" he continued, drawing her even closer to his chest, his brown, bushy tail brushing Ophelia's leg.
"I...."
But before she could answer, some noise came from some bushes, a brown creature with a furry neck and a fox's tail came out cautiously, gazing at herself and the wolf that was courting and flirting with her owner.
"Eevee!" gulped Ophelia, "Watch out! Or the wolf will eat you!!"
That's did not work though, for she drew Arthur's attention from Ophelia to herself. He slowly approached the Pokemon slowly and let out his palm to stroke Eevee's neck caringly, in which Eevee did not resist, giving him the chance to pick her up and tuck her into his arms.
"Awwww...." smiled Arthur, "Aren't you a little bundle of joy?"
Eevee, in response, tickled the wolf with her tail, as well as licking the skin on his neck, which made him giggled. Meanwhile, Ophelia snuck away to place the spilled apples, flowers and garlands back into the basket as the wolf was concentrated playing with her Pokemon.
"Perhaps Artiewolf...is....not that bad...at all..." thought Ophelia, gazing at the naughty but charming wolf.
A while of playing later, Arthur approached Ophelia and returned Eevee to her.
"Your little animal is cute and furry." he winked. That made Ophelia's never-fading blush turned into a deeper shade.
On the other side, fearing for their sister's safety, a piggy-eared man in the blue shirt and tie, along with his piggy-eared brother in his light brown suit, were looking around in the woods. Calling out her name with flashlights in their hand, piggy Jones stumbled upon their sister's belonging.
"Ophelia's shoe!" exclaimed Jones.
"What? Ophelia is taken away by the big bad wolf? Where is she now?" gasped Justin when Jones notified him with the black leather shoe.
"Maybe she was carried to the other side of the forest?" After his brother pointed the other side of the forest, Justin decided that he must find her lost sister at all cost as they both rushed off to the dark woods with their flashlights, calling out her name.
But what a surprise when they reached there! Ahead of them, was Ophelia, whose shoe had gone missing, laying her head on the wolf's shoulder. Cuddled by Arthur while she was resting, he was also petting the girl's Pokemon leisurely on his lap. Both were also shocked to find the two pigs' presence.
"Sister! Are you alright?" gasped Jones, but was interrupted by Ophelia, who immediately stood up upon seeing her brothers.
"Jones! Where did you find my shoe?" she exclaimed as soon she saw her retrieved shoe
"Lia..." sighed Justin, "We thought you are kidnapped or had fallen into danger when you have been out for almost an hour, along with your missing shoe left at the flower patch. Tell us, what did the wolf did to you?"
"He...he courted me and we both...befriended with each other. He was actually a gentlemanly and lonely wolf who also deserves some love and care....so I stayed beside him since I am lost in the forest without a shoe..." responded Ophelia.
"Really...?" wondered Jones and Justin, still having doubts.
"Yep." She then turned back and held Artiewolf's hand, which also surprised him too.
He did not expect that someone would accept him and treat him like a true friend.
Seeing Piggy Ophelia, Eevee and the big bad Artiewolf acting sweetly towards each other, both elder pigs were also thinking to themselves. "Maybe...we are wrong about him....he's not that fearsome than we thought...." mumbled Justin.
That's when they decided to turn to the wolf.
"Uh, Artiewolf? Thanks for taking care of my sister." explained Jones. "And we would like to apologize for our attitude towards you....It seems there is a misconception between us..."
"Yep." Justin nodded, "Perhaps you can be a welcoming guest to our house from now on since you really love to see Ophelia and Eevee together."
"Hmmm...Fine!" grinned Arthur, satisfied with their request and apology.
And so, from that day on, the big bad Artiewolf, was no longer their enemy. He had become Ophelia's boyfriend and Eevee's playmate, as well as a frequent visitor to her house. Of course, he would not dare to break any rules of the household with Ophelia's presence.
And finally, they all lived happily ever after in the woods.
