I hid my head under the covers, a sobbing mess. I heard Adam's feet pounding up the stairs over my sobs. My breaths were short and uneven as tiny waterfalls poured from my eyes. Adam opened the door to our room, "Ty? Hey, Ty? What's wrong?" He sat on the bed next to me. I sat up and put my face in his chest (if it's not proper wording, whoops.) He put his arms around me and tried to get me to calm down with sweet words that had no meaning. "Ty, calm down, everything will be fine..." He whispered. I sniffled and realized that Adam must have taken his amulet off shortly before I hugged him, "O...okay..." I mumbled. "Now, do you wanna tell me what happened?" He whispered. I hesitated before saying, "M...Mitch knows..." I said, my voice hard to make out.
