Another week, Another Day, Another hour. I'm so sick of everything. I wish I could drop everything and leave, but I just couldn't do that to Day. I can't imagine how my dad would treat him. Would my dad even feed him? I shook the thought out of my head, and bounced off my bed. Day should be asleep by now, but who knows with him nowadays.
It was finally the weekend, and I was staring at the suitcase on my bed. There were only two thoughts in this head of mine, "Leave Day, he has his so called dad and you need the break" and the second thought, "Stay Day needs you." I finally decided I was just going to take Day with me. My dad wouldn't notice we were gone. The suitcase on the bed fell into my hands and was led into Day's room.
"Day how about a vacation?" Day stared at me with his beautiful brown eyes and his mouth started to form in a smile. I smiled back and entered his closet grabbing his suitcase and unzipping. I then grabbed majority of his closet, stuffing in the suitcase.
My mind was in so many places. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I was so caught up with boys, and worrying about drama at school I didn't take time to think about home life. I didn't know if my dad would freak or not if he knew I was out of town with Day, but at this moment and time I didn't care.
"Okay let's go" my head moved to the stairs, showing Day to go down the stairs. I looked at my phone showing my Uber driver was close by.
The fun thing about this whole vacation thing is I didn't even know where I was going to go. I knew about the extra cash my dad had on the side, but I wasn't sure if I had the right to take it, but after all my dad has done to me, it was only right for me to take. I walked over the where the extra cash was hiding and grabbed
"$45,000, that's perfect" the money in my hand, made a bigger smile on my face. I hid the money in my backpack.
"I can't wvait for vawation!" Day yelled in excitement.
"I can't wait either".
The Uber driver was now outside. The Uber driver was taking Day and I to the airport.
I stood in the airport wondering where I was going to go. The cheapest tickets were the plan. I still had my fake ID saying I was 22. It was so dangerous, but I had to get out of town.

"We're here", I shook Day's arm. People were starting to get off the airplane. We both walked off the plane and grabbed our bags.
"Jazzy it's so pretty" Day shook my arm and pointed out the windows.
"Yeah" I smiled back at him and loved this decision I made.
I took my phone out my purse and started dialing a number.
"Hi grandma" my heart started to beat fast wondering how she was going to act.
"Oh my dear I haven't heard from you in forever."
"Sorry about that, I'm in Florida, can Day and I stay with you?"
"Of course dear, I can text you the address, once I figure out how to work this piece of technology."
I giggled at the thought of my grandma trying to work technology.

I was sitting inside of my grandmas house not remembering it at all.
"I know I shouldn't ask you this, but can you not tell my dad I'm here?"
"Why? Is everything okay?"
"Ever since mom died, he's different and unhappy."
"I miss my daughter so much, stay here as long as you need, but if he calls me wondering where you are, I have to tell him."
"Okay.."
I headed to the guest room that grandma let Day and I stay in. All the items in the suitcase were placed in the cabinet along with Day's items. I just stared around the and the tears started to flow. I slowly place my hands around my face. I just couldn't believe this is my life.
"Whav wvong" Day ran and sat on my lap. I wrapped my hands around him and held him tight.
"Nothing, I just love you so much."
"I wuv you too!" He hugged me back.
"How about we go do something fun" Day smile at me and I grabbed his hand and walked downstairs.
"Where are you two heading?" Grandma walked up to us.
"I have no clue" I giggled, I was probably just going to go drive around in an Uber.
"How about I take you to meet some of my friends an-" Grandma paused looking at my facial expression.
"Sugar don't worry, they have grandkids that visit them, they're around your age."
I giggled and headed to her car. I placed Day in his car seat and I sat in the passenger seat.
We arrived at a medium sized house. Grandma told me all about the women that lived here. She told me how she had beautiful grandchildren. We rang the doorbell and waited for a few seconds.
"Carole!" The lady hugged my grandmother then looked at us.
"You must be the beautiful Jasmine, and you must be Abner. Your grandmother told me all about y'all."
I smiled at her and then followed everyone into the house.
"Daren come down here and bring Sarah. I want you to meet someone." I looked at Day and laughed at his facial expression. We both didn't want to be here and Day wasn't hiding it at all.
I heard footsteps and someone walked in front of me putting their hand out.
"Hi I'm Daren." I looked up and shook his hand. I then looked at his face, and we both stared at each other for a while.
"I'm Jasmine and this is Abner." We we're both still staring at each other until I looked down at Day.
"Daren go show Abner and Jasmine around the house." Daren proceeded upstairs and walked us into a room with a tv and a large couch.
"Here's the tv room. We can sit down if you want." Daren nudged to the couch.
I sat on the couch and just looked around.
"Hi, I'm Sarah." I waved at her and then told Day to wave.
"So, how old are you two?" Daren asked looking at me.
"I'm 16 and Day is 3 about to be 4 soon. What about you two?"
"I'm 17 and Sarah is 14." Daren smiled at me. His eyes were hazel and he had pretty black hair. His skin tone was golden like and when you looked at his eyes, it was like he was hypnotizing you.
"Okay obviously you two need to get a room." Sarah rolled her eyes and walked out the room.
"I'm bored" Day looked at me with big sad eyes.
"Here" Daren turned the channel to a kids show.
"Can I get your number? You know just to talk about our grandmas?" He smirked and smiled at me.
"Why not?" I gave my number to Daren and he texted me so, I could save his number

Hi I'm back with new chapters!!! This book has a few more chapters before I end just so I can get started with a new story and update it frequently. I'm sorry I haven't updated this book, I just didn't have the motivation to write, but now I do. I know this chapter is short but I will update the chapter frequently till it is done!
