Chapter one: never alone

//FLASH BACK//
I'm at a picnic with my big brother Park Jimin. I suffer from depression and social anxiety, the only real friend I have is my brother.

He looks at me with a smile and brings out a little box with a ribbon wrapped around it from his pocket and gives it to me. "Go ahead, open it  (Y/N)"

I pull a little piece of ribbon to undo the box. I see a beautiful sterling silver bracelet, and it has something engraved on it, I gasp and pick it up and out of the box, the bracelet has engraved on it 'you're never alone'. 

My eyes light up with happiness he looks at me "see, you're never alone."

I turn to him and hug him "thank you oppa!" I smile brightly at him. He smiles softly and returns the hug.

Today is my first year of 11th grade. Jimin is hyper and excited as heck. I still have social anxiety, but I'm over my depression. To be honest I'm extremely nervous for the new year.

Jimin walks in my room "c'mon c'mon hurry! It's nearly time for school!" I look at the time on my clock, my eyes widen and I jump off my bed "ah crap!! We're gonna be late!"

"Well that's why I was telling you to hurry up!"

I get dressed and put on my shoes, I was about to grab my bag but then I looked at my wrist "ahh.. I'll be back" I run upstairs into my room and grab my bracelet that Jimin gave me when I was twelve.

I run back downstairs and grab my bag. Jimin and I head out the door and run to school.

Later when we arrive at school I quickly run to the locker bays and grab my books for my next subject, "ah. Music" I make my way over to the music room. I have my head down and wasn't really looking where I was going, I bump into someone, "yah!" I look up and see Jungkook, my eyes widen and I smile "Kookie!" He smiles at me "hey (Y/N)!" He hugs me tightly I return the hug "looks like you missed me huh?" I giggle and hit his arm playfully "in your dreams Jung-cock"

"I hate that name.."

I giggle. I hear someone say something in the back, and he's standing behind Jungkook. "Where's my hug?"

I look behind Jungkook and see Yoongi with his gummy smile. I get really happy and run up to him and hug him tightly "Min Yoongi! Ah I missed you!!" He giggles and hugs me back. We hear the warning bell go off, "well we better get to class before the actual bell goes" I say.

Jungkook looks at my text book "oh cool we both have music"

Suga looks up "I have music too."

I give them both a warm smile "ok let's get to class then" they both nod and we all walk to the music room.

The teacher walks in the room "ok students take a seat." Everyone sits down. "Ok so today I am assigning your seats because everyone loves it when I pick their seats" everyone yells out "no!!" He hits his desk "aye! Shut up and deal with it!"

"Ugh..." I sit back and wait for him to put me next to a person I really hate.

The teacher blabs on other people's names and who he pairs them up with. "And Min Yoongi you move next to (Y/N)" I was so fricking relieved I mumble "thank you god! Thank you!"

Yoongi grabs his books and pencil case and himself to the spot next to me. He smirks at me and I smile and poke my tongue out.

Near the end of the session the teacher announces "ok class! I am setting you a class project! You and the person next to you are now partners congrats. Anyways you are going to make up a brand new song of your own and it MUST be 100% ORIGINAL! Ok?!"

Everyone says "yep!" The teacher nods "ok. Start whenever you want. It's due next Friday! And you are going to sing it at assembly. The prize is a 300 dollar gift card of your choosing! Remember the song you create MUST be 100% ORIGINAL!!" Suddenly the bell goes "ok class dismissed now get out of my classroom."

Everyone picks up their stuff and leave. Yoongi then says "well this should be fun."

I do a long sigh "yeah.. Fun."
